Thats a problem with how Firefight matchmaking was handled, NOT a problem with how Firefight itself was. You could still play Firefight Classic

I didn’t really have a problem with Reach’s firefight, I like it
It seemed unfinished, and it wasn’t as good as ODST. Most matches consisted of one round (not unlimited), the vehicles between 3 and Reach got damaged/destroyed a lot more easily, and a lot of the modes (Score Attack, FRG Fight) you basically could do blindfolded.
Plus radar, better guns, and being a Spartan took away from the skill that had to be used in ODST which was actually difficult once you got hit with multipliers.
Also, did you ever play Firefight Versus? Probably the mode with the MOST potential in Reach, yet was completely underdeveloped.
The problem with reaches fire fight is that you don’t get that many credits. Sure you can get a bit over 100 gamerscore but otherwise its minimal credits is what keeps me from playing i a lot. i get much more from campaign and matchmaking. but it can be a blast if you mess with the damage modifiers just for the lols
This is the first I’ve heard of someone disliking it. I thought the majority were crazy about it. May just have been someone having a bad day.
