I’ve been snooping around some websites and people have been making fun of the halo community. Why? Because your all hating on change and they find that hilarious and its making us all look bad so stop. Halo 5 looks great to me if people hate sprint don’t use or go and play another shooter but the master chief collection was made for a reason if you don’t like halo 5 play halo 2 or 3 or C.E but don’t hate on halo 5 because half of you when you finally play it will probably enjoy it because this website has become a thing where people go to hate on anything they can. So instead embrace halos future not dread it
People hate change because we are people we live our lives and we follow patterns that become near and dear to us and can’t imagine having to change the way we do certain activities. Not everyone is going to take change with open arms we need to respect that but some are surely shooting down all change and wish for things to go back to the way we know them for Nostalgia sake. This vocal Minority is just that a minority don’t let someone else’s distaste for new features soil your perception of them we aren’t all going to agree stop flaming each other and trying to understand why someone feels some way about something.
After Reach and 4 it should be obvious change isn’t always a good thing. It’s funny change is always making Halo more like every other FPS and not change to FPS in general.
I’ve seen this “other people are making fun of us” line before, but I have yet to see anyone point out anything specific. In fact I hardly see anything Halo related at all.
The occasional digs at Halo I do see are generally ‘outdated’ references to Halo as the resident ‘bro shooter’ that have nothing to do with the current state of the community or the direction the series is going in.
I know this is hard for many people here to understand, but hating specific changes is not the same thing as hating all change. On a similar note, a person who dislikes, say, the Halo 5 art direction may also like the reduced auto-aim and faster killtimes. Similarly, someone who sees potential in one mechanic like thruster, may still hate sprint.
I’m sorry you cannot deal with the fact that other people may have opinions differing from yours. I mean no one could genuinely be unhappy with the direction the series is going in… If there is a large amount of negativity, it can’t simply be a matter of taste, those people must want to be negative, for reasons…
