SWAT can SOMETIMES get a pass… but SWAT clips are generally frowned upon as well. They have to be pretty filthy to be deserving of attention…

Let people record what they want to record. Are you also complaining when people record a funny moment? funny death? funny kill with the plasma pistol? Nice sticky with the grenade?

Preaching to the converted OP, plus it is very rare for things like that to occur in the ARENA a lot of things have changed in its design that make it near impossible to dominate people that have at least half a brain.

It is near impossible I’ve found the only way it to be done for me at least is to put in a good 3 hours in one sitting and hope for that hot streak. Then maybe you could pull 5 clips. It is very difficult but doable.
So you probably wouldn’t like this then - Just Hanging out.

Dude you’ve never even had a Killimanjaro in any game mode according to your medals so let people be proud of their accomplishments. Just because everyone isn’t a Champion and doesn’t drop Killioniares left and right doesn’t mean they can’t be proud of what they’ve done. I personally love watching people’s clips no matter what game mode they’re from. You can actually learn something a lot of the times on how different people approach the game. Get off your high horse.

People post a clip because the person feels good and proud about getting a Killionaire in Infection or Grifball. It still is satisfying no matter what game mode it may be. Your complaining isn’t helping, it’s only making people feel bad. Are you trying to say that people shouldn’t feel happy about getting a Killimanjaro in Grifball?
Also, if you think the medals wouldn’t matter in Grifball like Killimanjaro, then why would 343 put it in the gamemode? Don’t think just because the players don’t have shields make is easier. I would say it’s kind of a mix. Everyone doesn’t have a shield, so everyone takes the same amount of damage in the game. If you start killing players with the gravity hammer in Grifball, you have to watch your back, because someone else can kill you too with just one hit, so it still is fair and not OP. Everyone has a shield in Arena, everyone has no shield in Grifball. Concluded.

No I am not opposed to off-beat random funny occurances… or a single, nice snipe or sticky, it’s just when people try to look good (and are sometimes even perceived as good) with clips that don’t convey any sense of real skill.
Also, if it’s really “so hard” to dominate enemy players in this game, doesn’t that make it all the more awesome when you do?

It’s rare clips are presented that way around here. Most of the time it’s people just saying how excited they are that they got their first killionaire or something and they want to share their excitement with the community. Seriously dude, lighten up, and let people enjoy their moment.
And if it takes “no skill” to get an awesome spree in SWAT, Griffball, or Infection go do it and let us know how it goes. It’s not as easy as you so obviously think.
Heaven forbid people are excited about what they accomplished in a game. We live in the world of participation trophies, yes, but competing itself is hard. Especially if you are a newcomer to Halo, something like an overkill is a big deal to you. The game isn’t easy when you start out

People post clips because they want to; they don’t do it for anyone else but themselves. Who are you to tell others what kind of clips they should post? So what if a social clip is trending? Why don’t you post what kind of clips you want and let everyone else be?
Why do people who are not capable of producing such great social montages have to constantly nag and complain about other peoples montages? We record and make them because we are proud of what we just accomplished and want to show it off to our friends and other people. Don’t tell me you have never recorded a video because you were proud of it. Also, no one has ever forced you to even watch the video. Plus, it’s also nearly impossible for someone to get such a high medal in a ranked playlist. I’ve never seen a video of a person getting a killionaire in team arena. You probably send people a “reported” message on Xbox for something awesome they just managed to pull off.
Move this garbage thread to general discussion; it has absolutely nothing to do with Halo 5.
To continue on with how it’s a little harder now to get those clips have you not noticed a lot of montage clips from ppl are against ppl way below their skill level.
I couldn’t care less whether or not you think someone’s clip is super 1337 pro MLG montage 4-shot worthy.
I like Halo. I want to see people’s clips. The end.
