In warzone why do people destroy REQ vehicles that we get? A lot of us work hard for those vehicles and I don’t want it destroyed by my own teammate a minute after I get it.
Its either they dont want the enemy using it or they are A holes. They are mostly A holes.
Are you talking about warzone firefight? or warzone pvp. In warzone pvp players will destroy unused vehicles so that the other team can’t use them against their own team. If they do that in warzone firefight then they are just toxic players . . . however in both modes it is impossible to damage a vehicle manned by a teammate. The likelihood is that your teammate just didn’t know you were trying to get to the vehicle and destroyed it so the other team wouldn’t use it.

firefight
In Warzone Firefight, I would guess that it’s caused by the tradition of avoiding the “none existent” enemy team access to the vehicle and to increase the likelihood for the player to be the winner.
Maybe it’s a form of protest against RNG microtransactions. Or asset denial.
sometimes the vehicle just disappears depending on how many vehicles are in play. also the AI will continue to shoot your body and destroy the vehicle as well. i know what youre talking about though as well because ive seen teammates in that mode do this as well.

Well when your best vehicle is a corp warthog, it is kind of obvious you don’t have the money for REQ packs.

Eh Luckily Req packs are super easy to come by as long as you have a little bit of time to play. typically just two firefight or warzone matches will get you enough for a gold pack then youll be rolling in the good -Yoink- I dont even play that much but have like 20 of each rare vehicle. I need to play more though so i can get those -Yoink!- ultras n legendaries though.
I like to take a vehicle when a player obviously upgrades, it saves me a REQ, but sometimes when I get out and a player takes mine its because their -Yoinks!-. Sometimes they destroy it and I literally message them wtf, I gotten a reply saying, it was in the way. People just don’t see the value in reqs because they only care for the better crap. I’ve found if its not a tank or a ariel vehicles itll get destroyed (of its even in perfect condition).
If its on fire it gets destroyed. If its a ghost itll only be used to ram infantry, but if there is no infantry people will nade it until it gets destroyed. People just love to blow that -Yoink- up and not think about the use for it because it’ll immediately get replaced by something of high demand
Sometimes I destroyed my vehicle because it was damaged and I knew if someone took it they would die and be in respawn which hurts the team.
honestly who knows why people do the things they do. you just gotta ignore it and keep playing. i just assumed it had something to do with them wanting to be at the top of the scoreboard.
It’s usually so they enemy can’t use it against your own team, but if it’s not for that reason it’ll be because they’re just toxic and find it funny
Are you sure they’re destroying them and not just screwing around between rounds knowing that the damage being dealt doesn’t matter as long as someone is in the vehicle‘s driver seat?

I know that screwing around happens a lot but they will sometimes destroy or hit my vehicle when I am not in it. This is firefight so there isn’t an enemy team.
I only mainly destroy my own Req Vehicles if it’s close to blowing up, but people who do it for the sake of it are just trolls & there’s not much we can do about except report them
Mostly they are just not very intelligent players to say it nicely. There’s always this 1 guy who thinks it’s fun to mess with other players. Destroying vehicles, Spartan charge you in front of enemies and splattering are their main weapons. Luckily you can beat them with their own weapons if you want. A well placed t bag after will finish the work

Comment of the day
Honestly, it’s just that a bunch of idiots don’t want you getting all the kills, that’s what happens to me most of the time…
I mean i had a game the other day with a dude in a wraith ramming some guys scorpion till it died, he tried to mess with my wraith too but for some reason 2 wraiths dont actually collide. He was still trolling the heck out of my ability to hit targets. After the end of the match i go to block the guy (probably pointless but anyway) and find out he is “Reputation: Avoid Me”. Told me all i needed to know.
I personally feel if a player goes out of thier way in firefight and exploits game mechanics to destroy req vehicles that another player is actively driving the offending player, if reported and the offense somehow proven at least, should be billed the 4 USD and a gold pack be gifted to the victim player. Imagine how quickly such anti human nonsense would go away if there was a real tangible cost to things
