So many people ask “hey want to do achievements” on the new maps.
What is the point to an achievement if you didnt legitimately do it?
I understand some of them are really hard and situational to acheive,(Now They Fly?)

Honestly I don’t care.
As long as the guys who want to boost it do it in a full lobby where randoms can’t stumble into it they can do what they want.
Technically the achievement is still legit because it is within the rules of the game and there is no external scripts or programs being used. It is naturally being unlocked by meeting the requirement needed for that to happen.
I got 9 of them yesterday and got the final one today after a few games. You really need luck and not that much skill.
Because they can’t get it legit (by themselves, not a full party trying to get them).
By legit I mean by playing. For example I would consider boosting in Halo 3 non-legit.
I only boosted the Pulse nade achievment because i got so annoyed that people kept stealing my kills when i was about to get that double kill with Pulse nade. Every other achievemnt ive ever had is legit.
Most of them are pretty luck based anyway, can’t say I blame them.

They are very situational, I’ll say that.
Because 343 are terrible at making achievements.
Because MP achievements sucks. You want to get them out of the way as soon as possible so that you can go back to enyoing the game. You don’t want to be in a team based game and start thinking about achievements instead of the win.

yeah the MP achievements do really suck.
The only reason people voted for shatter was to do mantis achievements.
Then if they didn’t get the vehicle they’d grief you or quit 40% of the time.
it shifts the focus of the gameplay.
These achievements are not bad, remember the Halo 3 achievements?
The only achievement that gave me a hard time in these new maps were the Assassinate a person while they are zoomed in which I think was stupid to begin with and the 5 Air Assassinations.

Momma always told me cheaters never win.
Every single Achievement I have (and Commendation for that matter) are legit. If I don’t have them legitly, then I’m not happy or feel rewarded for having them. I’d rather legitly not have them, than have them and know they’ve been boosted.
People boost them because they suck at the game, or aren’t willing to put the time in to get them, or both.
