I think its really fun but you rarely see many playing it.
I prefer it over big team because its more then just slayer! Requires alil team work!

I only play objective games when I have a few friends to play with and we can coordinate.
One night, we had a party of 6, and I -Yoink- you not, we won the game in 1:15 seconds on Exile. We had that map down to a T.
I like Dominion, but only with friends, hence the reason I don’t always play it.
I don’t play because of the rockets.
It requires people to act as a team and talk. Halo only fosters K/D and stat padding. Also people like it simple. See blue and shoot at it. Not run into base and put in virus and open turrets and hold it like a sitting duck.
Game Starts.
Get a power weapon.
Capture a point.
Camp base you just took with said power weapon.
When left with no ammo, take a vehicle.
That is why I don’t like it.
I constantly have to use my Covenant Class to take out vehicles and hide from power weapons.

I found that a lot of people aren’t up for trying objective games.
I love Dominion!
I haven’t tried Extraction yet.
I also love regicide > FFA, it stops everyone from camping! (except boosters and perhaps the king him/herself.)
I enjoy it.
There are just too many power weapons!! I also kind of hate it because it replaced the invasion gametype, which imo was the greatest playlist in any Halo ever.

Perhaps you should try Promethan vision and get a stick on that power weapon camper in the base?
I know what you mean, I’ve walked into a base a few times now, only to be shot simultaneously by two camo-bearing shotgunners crouching by the fancy button.
Sometimes you have to change up your game, mess around and see what works for you.
I’ve found that most of the time they won’t budge until I’m close enough for them to 1-shot, so I’ll take my time, crouch around a corner, and chuck that good 'ol blue 'nad!

Won a game of Dominion in 1:09 myself, was pretty damn epic. Was me, my mate and 4 randoms, lol

I’ve joined a game of Dominion alone to warm up, realized I was given overshield and was walking into a base with 3 guys. Took 'em out but a fourth was soon there and took me out and we loss the game in just under 2 minutes. Never felt so fail in awhile.

Invasion is now called Extraction and comes with the Crimson Map pack.
It is, of course, tweaked a bit but matches Invasion more than Dominion.

It’s fun, but a little absurd with the amount of power weapons on map and sometimes as a result it gets aggravating very quickly.
I like it but needs team work and if you play with randoms not worth the effort

If I don’t have at least two friends, I won’t touch the playlist. I’ve watched my teammates run face first into a camo’d defender and still not understand they need to either get a teammate or a weapon to counter him.
It’s also painful to hold a base by yourself for a few minutes, see two teammates decide to stay there as well and run off to go help take another point only to see that base get taken in under 20 seconds after you leave. It’s like babysitting the damn AI teammates.
I want invasion back actually.
