Seriously guys, give them a break.
They are a new studio comprised of a team which about 99% of employees came to work to make Halo. They are fans of the series. Just like you and me. As fans, I am sure they want to make Halo 4 the best it could possibly be. They notice what you want, and a lot of it they probably agree with.
Stop moaning at every little piece of the game they show us! The majority of posts in this forum are about AAs, Chiefs Armor, Multiplayer and ranking systems, and what you want. After the 1000th post in the forum about each of those, I think they got the idea!
Who “ruined” Halo by making Halo Reach?
Bungie, not 343. All 343 did was make 2 map packs which both added new and exciting elements to an otherwise pretty crap game.
What else have 343 done?
Made a remake of an awesome game, that a lot of us were asking for, and then packed it with new and cool features. Made the map pack that came with that game available for those who didn’t want to buy it. They didn’t NEED to do that, but they did for you guys. They also helped bring us Halo Wars, another awesome game that was better than Bungies last two attempts, IMO.
Then came the ViDoc with gameplay. After months of you guys asking for it, you got it but then moaned about that too. From the ViDoc I got the following things:
-Chiefs armor looks awesome.
-The BR looks awesome.
-The Warthog looks awesome.
-Sprint is in, although this isn’t bad, I actually think it’s a good move.
-No Armor lock by the look of things (You can shut up about that now!)
-Spartan IVs look awesome.
-No assassinations (Good thing, they were annoying and encouraged “Yoinks”)
-No campaign maps (YAY!)
-No remake maps (We need something new, come-on!)
All I saw was good, in my opinion.
Cut them some slack. It’s like you want them to fail. I’m confident Halo 4 will be better than any of you are making it out to be.
