This is my first post!
Just want to know if anyone is having the same problem.
I’ve played Halo from the beginning and I’ve always been good, by good I mean having a positive KD ratio for most games.
Halo 2 was my best game, back in day my highest rank was 35 in doubles and slayer.
Halo 3 my overall KD was positive.
More recently Halo 4, I was okay still had a positive KD with just occasional play.
But now…
I’ve been playing MCC for about three weeks now (got an xbone just for MCC)
And I suck!
Most games I get a negative KD, play nothing like I used to.
Before I could just play occasionally and still do OK.
With all my Halo MP experience I know what to do but I seem to just fail lol.
Anyone else having the same experience?
yeah, I would guess that you’re just not that good at halo. casuals can’t hang in a lot of games because the community is smaller as a result of the game being unplayable for so long. I think the people that played through the unbearable times are generally better players with attachment issues like myself.
I concour with Mmmoozzy… The people that have been playing already know the things With the game that makes them different than they were one the previous consoles(and there are many) it’s almost like playin a different game in terms of classic now to before. Besides that I know in November when I started I wasn’t that great and it has been a long while since Ive played any game extensively… With that bein said I though that there are people that still do or now do, depending on age or what have you, play extensive even more so now with MCC… So what I’m tryna say is that it isn’t you that sucks… It’s that you just haven’t put in the work as much as people have… With time and more playing you will get to where u were before and maybe even beyond that…

I thought I would be able to pick up and play when I got MCC but it seems like I need to put in the hours (hard when you have kids)
What’s strange though is I came in and out of halo 4 and still did okay.
Started only playing h2a and if I stick to it I seem to be doing better. I think playing slayer and going between h2 and h3 hasn’t helped.
I’ll find request you Balerion I and play with you a bit to see what your doing for tips etc

Yea I bet it hard… They prob gonna wanna play lol nd no switch from one to the other is vey hard each game runs different and the majority play H3 in team slayer it seems… I don’t like playing it but I’m figuring that as long as I keep playin Ill get more use to the it… U’ll get there… U got a 35 back in the day that’s good man that’s like when u start gettin modded back then… It’ll come back to u
You probably not use to playing the games at 60 fps and the new xbox one controller

Yeah it’s all h3 on slayer atm…
Yeah 35 back in the day was a lot of hard work!
And you are right we got modded and standbyed a lot at that level. That’s why I why bridged, forced host to a team mate, was the only way to avoid it. Don’t know if that’ll be frowned apon on here lol
Halo 2 was amazing but it didn’t have a lot of problems with cheaters. People who hate and complain about MCC seem to forget all that lol.
