Why do I suck at everything I do?

Just judging by your record you don’t play very much. Practice makes perfect. Bouncing from game to game throws off your timing. Find one game and stick with it. Also remember there is only so much you can do about lag, if you have slow service you may never win. Many of the 50s owe there 50s to there parents u-verse. If your on dsl, just play for fun.

just keep on practicing if you want to be the best you can be

Welcome to online play. You will find that mm is much harder than campaign, but much gunner too. You will take a lot of beatings for a while but you will get your turn. Just remember, no team killing, and never quite, no matter how bad your loosing.

I’ve only played 4 and reach. I’m level 39 I think in 4 and Seargent rank 2 in reach and I’ll usually get like 3 kills and bout 8 assists.

Patience is what it takes, but it took years for me to beat my brother, but once i beat him too many times, he did not want to play with me anymore! then I played halo 4 spartan ops on matchmaking on legendary for about a month, and I am not doing too bad anymore.

In those 3 years which halo game have you played the most? believe me it matters. Also for Halo wars try playing age of empires or age of mythology on PC to familiarize yourself with the gameplay style. they are made by the same developers and play very similarly. Having the fastest build for resources is key to winning in Halo Wars. Also AoM and AoE are more complicated than Halo wars but play similar so understanding the resource management of those games would make Halo Wars a cake walk.

> All this is complete horse -Yoink-. I play with semi pro to pro players since Halo 2 haven’t stopped playing since and I still get freaking wreaked by the noobs. If you have slow Internet you are already down one BR shot and if you don’t play on a monitor then you are down 2 shots.
>
> This game depends so heavily on this stuff that it’s starting to get frustrating to me. I know this because I’ve played with good Internet and a monitor before and I’m better then the friends that I play with. All I hear is practice your BR and your BR is the only weapon you need then I go over to their house on their setup and wreak them.
>
> If you have great Internet and you play on a monitor which I kin of want to take a poll. Then are you paying attention to where your team is at? The only way I go positive is to pick up kills when my team is in a fire fight across the map.
>
> If your running around with out your team your going to die point blank. Idc if your name is Walshy you WILL die. If we’re both shooting the sam guy he dies in 2 shots. If your fifighting 2 people you die it 2 shots but you need 8 to kill them if you don’t miss.
>
> So then using the above if you’re fight two people you have crappy Internet and play on a TV you have just died before even being able to shoot anyone.

none of what you say is true

The way i got good was Legendary all the way, been playing since CE release in 01, played with semi and pro players on Halo 2 and 3, practice practice practice, it also help to make friends with a decent to great player and learn from them, that’s what i did, and now im a top contender, im # 2 in my city in Texas for Halo Reach and #192 in the state of Texas and im a 14 year vet, i mostly play for fun now but can teach some useful skills, and have lots of tips, Halo Wars was difficult for me at first too, play age of empires or command and conquer practice with friends that are good eventually you will get the same hope it helps buddy.

Welcome to online-playing on halo 4. I know the feeling. I been playing halo for 14yr.s, but every halo is different in its own unique kind of way. So I played halo4 campaign on straight legendary; for idk 1 to 2 months thought i had the hang of the gameplay. However, matchmaking is far harder is way more funnier i think.
Just don’t get discouraged and never quit the mach. (EVEN if your on the losing team or if its not the map or load out you prefer.
Practice on one game type at a time for now. Just like campaign you will get better at playing matchmaking. Everybody don’t do as well as they think they would the first some-wad online matches. So don’t let a low score or K/D ratio get to you.Play for fun, Its a game and that’s what games are made for. Yet practice on a regular in order it get better at it as well

For the fps games, it depends. What is your play style? Are you the guy who runs in guns blazing? Are you the guy who sits back and offers covering fire? What weapons do you gravitate to?

As for Halo Wars, it depends entirely what you’re building and how fast you can do it. Whenever I played it just seemed like teams would focus on one unit type per player. So a team of 3 would have an entire army of Grizzlies, Hawks, Scarabs, etc.

Practice is probably your best bet. I’ve been playing Halo since CE but only got Xbox Live shortly after Halo 4 released so from all my years of experience in the campaigns I managed to come first in the first few matches I did. Some of the people you’re playing against may have been playing for a very long time. For instance, I went into a social match in Halo 3 on the 360 a few weeks ago and got absolutely destroyed by the people who have thousands of games under their belt.

One thing I have found is some people just have it and some people don’t. I mean, you can get good to a certain extent from playing over and over, but I have seen people (especially on Halo 4 and Reach) who have played +2000 games and they are still just terrible. Back in Halo 3, I got my 50 and played a huge amount, but I just hit a wall and could never really get better. If you use anything but the BR or DMR on a regular basis, stop. Those two guns will be your salvation. Learn to strafe. Don’t push unless you have support. Go easy on grenades. Play a lot. If you play 4 or Reach, try to avoid all the fancy things and just play straight up Halo. The game is honestly freaking hard and there are a lot of good people that will dominate, but learning to 4 shot people and how to control maps will make you much better. There are some things you can’t help like who is pulling host, but you can learn to play through that. Don’t run straight at people. Don’t challenge anyone if your shields are low. I don’t know. The more you play the game, the more you will discover. And you can try and find better people who are willing to play and they can teach you some things, just like my older brother taught me when Halo 2 came out.

Find a weapon selection that your good at and try and get that loadout in games. Machmaking is hard and a good bit of the time it isn’t you who’s bad it is your team. Just keep playing it over and over again and try and get one more kill every other time.

Your not bad you have a good k.d. streak (better than me)

For Halo Wars I can personally teach you some pointers, I’m a decent or good player on the FPS side of Halo and as stated by one of the people here, now that I own a monitor instead of a 480p TV, I should statistically do better (just gotta get used to HD haha). Send me a friend request and we’ll play some Halo Wars! Or the FPS side of Halo, whichever is fine.

bueno pues… prueba jugar en legendario (si todavía no la has jugado hasi) y cambia tus controles con los que te cientas mas cómodo eso mejora mucho

Find a weapon you like, then learn where all the power weapons on a map are, then you just play well and don’t rage. You play enough and you will be awesome in like a month

Continue to play everything will come together.

If playing with other people and losing all the time is no fun for you then play by yourself in story mode sometimes it’s better that way.

Or find someone you trust to practice in Custom.

I’m not the brightest either, and I’ve been playing for years but only because Halo is not the only game I play. Practice, that is your key to get better.

Practice makes perfect. I always find a good solo legendary session usually helps get me back in a groove if I stopped playing Halo for a while.
