i made a post before complaining about the obsolete ranking system and there are already threads about AFK people. but am i cursed or something? every match of slayer i play my team is either AFK or like level 12… i just dont understand this game anymore. like i always have 2 people on my team who dont know what the frack they are doing. it pisses me off

I stopped playing Halo 5 a long time ago, only stopping by this thread to see what’s going on. I honestly don’t know why anyone plays H5’s multiplayer. In fact, I can’t fathom why anyone would say this was the best in the series.
As for the populace, you probably aren’t gonna find that many quality players. Most of the fanbase has moved on from Halo altogether or are on HW2 now.

i think its bc its the start of the season bc when i played rank i would play people with my skill…but social is just so booboo in my opinion buy welp who am i to complain
If you don’t enjoy it don’t play. Anything 4v4 if you don’t have friends or regular teammates it’s not worth playing IMO. I play for FFA, warzone firefight, mythic fiesta. I also have discovered a lot of fun in the custom game browser… Occasionally I may go into action sack, btb, and regular warzone.

I love halo 5 Multiplayer. Warzone is where I live! the smooth mechanics blow other competing titles out of the water. The mash up that is Warzone is my favorite thing that has happend to halo. I don’t play any other game out there. Games should be fun, and I cant find anything more fun then playing Warzone in Halo 5.

Definitely agree with this statement, especially the bolded portion. Although, there are still some hardcore fans playing Reach and MCC.
pretty much all i play are warzone and custom games, all fun for me. If i get an unlucky streak i go customs or join friends

Amen, I’m probably gonna join the MCC crowd for a bit. All these years later and nothing beats the Bungie games.

Just warning you, there’s long search times in some modes, especially the niche ones like the Objective playlist. But best of luck to you!

Yeah I figured that would be an issue, which is a shame. I’ll probably be sticking to Vanilla Slayer and Infection, maybe some BTB.

So now you’re making another complaint thread? I dont get what you’re trying to accomplish here. Are you just venting? Or do you want to discuss matchmaking? Because there is a whole section for that Here

Really? Not true, a lot of the good Halo 5 players dont play RTS because it’s completely different from an FPS. Also, care to share why you dont think it’s NOT the best? Any reason? There are still a lot of good people, you just dont see them often because they’re all up in Diamond and Onyx
Well, usually, you get paired with people of your skill level. So when you get paired with noobs… I’ll leave you to put 2 and 2 together. Go in with a fireteam, or just play FFA.
Try using the Focused search. If it still pairs you up with noobs… than that says a lot about your own skill level.
I still play because I love Halo, and this game still holds attention for me. I have Halo goals that I want to finish before H6. Some of us can adapt some can’t. I have more closer matches than not.

we’ve all been like that, remember that every noob can one day become an MLG, just help them out.
I’m sure the low population has a lot to do with it. It is what it is at this point.

I had a day like that yesterday - bad day, but it’ll get better the next time you play. You keep playing because the game is very, very good, fun, and addicting. But you probably could afford to bring in some quality teammates to better your experience!
