I was wondering why I see the 343 Industries Assault Rifle and Magnum weapon skins under the area where you see all the possible REQs that can be unlock. And how to Unlock them.
I want to know this too, but I bet its like the old ‘Recon’ armor from Halo 3. I have noticed the 343 skins too but they don’t always appear for me.
Probably so people will stop asking them about it. But it kinda annoys me because it prevents people from hitting 100%
You can’t unlock them and we can only assume its a mistake that they are showing up there.
Funnily enough, they showed up on Waypoint a few days before the update dropped but have since vanished.
Maybe we’ll be able to unlock them in the near future and they’ll add new 343-exclusive skins for all starting weapons (DMR, SMG and BR included).

I bet that they will add them in later in a special ‘343 REQ pack’ like the Championship Series skins that went for 80,000 REQ points or 10 bucks.
Mine just stay there and make me sit at 97%

Could be. Or they’ll just make it available in all packs.
My main concern is people seeing the skins and not being aware anybody can get them, spawning a bunch of people pretending they work at 343 Industries.

There was an issue relating to the HCS packs where players could get the 343 Industries skins. It was fixed in probably around 10 minutes but a few lucky players who already had all the previous REQs were able to buy the pack and get the 343 Industries skins. Since so few people got them, they decided to just let them keep them rather than going through the hassle of manually removing them.
Probably goes without saying but you should only believe someone is a 343 Industries employee if they have the 343 Industries emblem. That hasn’t been handed out to anyone outside of 343 Industries to my knowledge.
They actually look pretty cool. Wish you could get them.
Well, fun fact. They were glitched at first in the HCS pack so some people actually do have them, they currently arent available though

but also i agree with your 343 employee comment, but im sure they dont want ppl knowing they are working for 343 so they just dont use them… i mean i wouldnt want a million ppl messaging me and friend requesting me, asking about this and that. so sadly we still might have to just take some guys at their word for it ;(
