Do you have the scout Warthog license? If you do. That is why
Buy silver or gold req packs to get licences for better vehicles. Once you get the licence, you’ll start receiving them for the req packs you earn from playing like the promotion and commendation packs.

The only viable thing I have used them for, is taking the super armoured up Oni Scout Hog straight to my enemy’s core with one of my buddies to wreck it. You have a little more protection than with a Mongoose, so a straight shot usually gets you in at least.

Good distraction at the very least since it has nice protection.
For a gamemode called Warzone I want a vehicle that belongs in a Warzone. Not a weaponless grocery-getter. But that’s just me I suppose.

The Oni Hog I know for fact can survive a direct shot from a tank; so yeah it does make a hell of a distraction. Maybe have your passenger wield a Hydra to harass the enemy even more.
OK. What about the regular scout hog?.. It just sucks and I’ve legitimately never seen it used.

Regular Scout Hog is good for a ten second distraction at best; very weak, I’ve managed to get a team mate in to an enemy base once or twice. Corp Scout Hog is okay, has a little extra armour; but I agree the standard Scout Hog is pretty trash. I normally use them when I know I’m going to lose so I can harass my enemies and go for splatters.
Because it’s a pay-to-win game.

I see how it could be, but I’ve not had that experience yet. I have not purchased any packs, never will, and yet I’m flooded with good weapons, boosts, and vehicles.
I have Scorpions coming out the wazzoo and I’m swimming in snipers and incinerator cannons.
I always get mongooses lol
Of course, there is the deluge of junk items. They get sold in a heartbeat.

No pay to win here, I bought a Gold Pack with real money to see what I would get; I got an SMG; and a piece of Armour. No pay to win here, it’s Pay-For-RNG at best.
If you don’t understand what Pay to Win is, don’t bring it up; please.
If it were Pay To Win; only paying players would be able to get Mythic and Legendary weapons or something along these lines.
But, everyone can get them. It literally takes three games of Warzone at most to get a silver pack; which contains the majority of the game’s permanent items. There is no pay to win, and I apologize for seeing rude, but seeing this pay to win argument is getting on my last nerve; if you think this game is pay to win you are either: A) Zealous and Possibly Thick-Headed B) Ignorant of what Pay to Win means.
If you are in category B: You can educate yourself on the matter and come back when you actually understand the concept.
You need the warthog certification, I recenly got the Corp Warthog one, the yellow hogs with more armor.
Buy silver packs, for the cost of A gold pack, you get 4 perm unlocks.
Once you stop getting perms from silver, then buy gold, you’ll save millions of req points and won’t be missing out on much.
I wish you could give me some, I’ve been trying to unlock it for a while.
