Why do I keep getting spawned into losing matches

Like what the hell!!!

I’m am so sick of being spawned into a freaking massacre… its not fun and very frusrating. I don’t care if I started off with level 5 reqs… I’m 1 person on a team full of scrubs with a single digit kills while the other team have dmrs, scorpions, banshees, etc. Like why should my K/D and other stats have to be sacrificed? which is average as it is.
its complete -Yoink-!!

343i… please add a function where I can opt out of partcipating in matches that already started… thanxs

Because other people leave losing games, so you take their place.

Because people quit when they are losing so there are always plenty of slots available for losing teams.

Because they need reinforcements.

Because it has empty player slots.

The love & hate of Halo…

This has been in Halo 4 for a few years, why is this NOW a complaint?

Nobody leaves when they are winning?

So the only opening is on the losing team…
I’ve been in a 10 Second match a few times.
Didn’t even spawn and I lost… =)

I’ve spawned into at least 5 games where the score showed the winning team was less than 30 seconds to victory and the losing team(the team I joined) needed at least 10 minutes in order to catch up.
I would personally add a feature where you can no longer leave games. If you go to xbox home and quit the game or you shut off your console, you win loose is reset to 0, and your kd put to -50000
You also cannot join matches in progress. This would help people ot so they don’t join a game and immediately loose.

Because you are so good that 343 thinks you could save the game.

I’ve had already done that few weeks ago. Get into a match in Apex where we were losing 300 to 500. Spawned a banshee (I get req level 5 and have a few kills before) and defeated a legendary boss. So we were something like 500 to 600. And then we captured a second base. And finally we won something like 1000 to 850.

Whoa there, let’s start with the banhammer and see where that goes. This has happened to me a lot too, and it is extremely frustrating to be put in a match with 0 chance of winning, but the punishment needs to fit the crime. Personally, I’m in favor of an actual banhammer for Warzone and inability to join a match if your team is down say 200 points.

Because the ban hammer isn’t strict enough to deter the quitters.

Top three reasons:

  1. Quitters. Quitters leave at the first sign of adversity
  2. Quitters in denial. Gamer’s with poor internet connections, that blame the servers when they are dropped from games.
  3. Priorities. You are in a losing match and remember you never got around to watching that cat video on you tube. AKA Something more important came up.

Because people never quit when they are winning normally when they are getting destroyed.

Because you can still win this fight…as Commander Palmer says. By destroying the enemy core lol.

lol, this happens to me heaps when i play solo. kill 4 phatons on urban with level 2 reqs, massacre anyone?? defence of bases on darkstar at level 1. <- never pretty. i just do my bit, kill what i can and bask in the many and varied ways i can die spectacularly :stuck_out_tongue: on the upside i spawned into a game tonight and got my first ever win on stormbreak. 30 plays and i finally won one  but i also had a game where 3 people quit on urban, no replacements :frowning: that one was not pretty

Yup, this sucks but is an unfortunate reality of multi-player halo.
99% of the time I spawn into a losing side, but I HAVE had a couple of experiences spawning into WINNING teams (maybe players lost internet connection) and that was nice!

Only 1 game so far I spawned in at 800-300 and being on the 800 pt side was great. But, I’ve ended up spawning into games too often on the losing side of a 950+ to ≈ 200-400 game and plenty of ones where I don’t even get to fire a round before I hear “that’s a loss” from Palmer. :-/

> Why do I keep getting spawned into losing matches

Because people tend to quit when they’re losing rather than when they’re winning.
