I don’t leave games or anything. I lose connection every now and then and end up with a ban. Is anybody else experiencing this stupidity?
Purposefully leaving matches and accidental disconnects are treated the same and both will eventually lead to a ban. I understand your frustration, and it’s unfortunate, but it’s also necessary because if the system didn’t count disconnects as quits then quitters would exploit it to avoid bans. It is also possible to get banned for unsporting conduct such as idling or attacking teammates. If you want more information, please refer to the “Why was I banned?” thread.
