that Halo 4 is even going to be worse than reach,i thought since its a sequel it would go more into the trilogys direction, but in fact its going even deeper into reachs.
Proof:
> Loadouts have a couple more slots than Reach loadouts. (In Reach, you get primary weapon, secondary weapon, grenade, AA - in H4, you get two more slots - I forget what they were called, but they hold things like increased regen and more ammo.) I primarily stuck with the first two loadouts - the first was BR/Plasma Pistol/Plas Grenade, while the second was DMR/pistol/frag.
Actually, Halo 4’s core mechanics are moving more towards the trilogies direction. Think about it, faster movement speed, larger jump height, just because AA’s are back doesn’t mean the game is going to be Reach 2. Bloom is subject to change and it’s only on TWO weapons (that we know of) . . . seriously guys we need to wait for a little more game play until we come to these kind of conclusions because in all the game play we’ve seen it looks more like Halo 3 + sprint.
Hell, even the MLG players praised Halo 4 when they played . . .
Because you are silly. Thats right, silly. You worry about the future because of the past and present, and from what you hear, its going that way.
Think of halo 4 as halo 3, but with the improvements Reach SHOULD’VE made. That they were going to make. Think its going to be new and fresh and better than ever.
> that Halo 4 is even going to be worse than reach,i thought since its a sequel it would go more into the trilogys direction, but in fact its going even deeper into reachs.
If
i was a developer there, I wouldn’t scrap every Reach idea either. They can work with some Reach ideas, and make it better. There is nothing wrong with trying to improve things from Reach. They actually did look at the past trilogy as well.
If you’re not thankful for them looking at Halo 3 as a bench mark for movement speed, jump height, and strafe, then you can’t be pleased. 343 is listening. The second that they don’t listen to someone’s idea, they get called out as people that don’t care about nothing.
Halo 4 is going to be awful, that’s a near fact. These kids won’t admit it though, worshipping 343 seems to be their new religion. It’s funny that anyone can praise a company that has achieved nothing other than not screwing up the Halo CE remake and releasing a mediocre TU for Reach.

I nor anyone else praises 343. However we do support them and the Halo franchise just as any fan should. Instead of blindly assuming that the game will suck, we take what information we have at the time and produce best and worst case scenarios for it. And in case you’re too young to remember, there was a time when Bungie was still developing the original Halo CE. Microsoft, (a company that doesnt play around with its money), put faith in them and eventually ended up with the Halo franchise. Point being, would a little faith kill you?
> You’re crazy. Halo 4 is gonna be great. It’s gonna clean up what Reach messed up. Trust 343i.
Well, you’d actually have to try pretty hard to make a Halo game that’s worse than Reach. And that’s a huge advantage for 343i - they can get away with almost everything now in Halo 4. Just saying…

Halo 4 has been in production a lot longer than a year and a half.

What?
It’s said that they’ve been working on it since Reach release, maybe longer. But definitely not what you said.
> That is what they said, but between they made Halo:CEA, I’m not sure they really had the time to do anything about Halo 4.
CE:A was co-developed and much of the work was done by Saber Interactive. 343 was there to help make sure the details were right and that Certain Affinity get the MP remakes for Reach the proper treatment. It’s not like they scrapped the entire CE code, they didn’t but rather did subtle tweaks and additions while leaving the core game play alone.
Beyond that, they’ve had a team working before and during Reach TU, CE:A etc.

Lol tell me that after reading these forums, it’s almost identical to the forums of those crazy baptist churches.
I’m not ‘blindly’ assuming the game will suck, there is much evidence to suggest it will, which I could list if you want. On the contrary you are blindly assuming this game will not suck and there is little to suggest this as truth.
Your last point means little, Halo CE is nowhere near as good as Halo 2 and 3.
No it wouldn’t, but I’d rather still use my brain, thanks.
