Why Do Console Players Want Crossplay Disabled Anyway?

I actually did get mine to run across two breakers through a conduit, but my nodes were too far away. Had to dig an Ethernet line instead, but hey. If the nodes are in decently close wire-to-wire proximity, it’s a fantastic connection.

They should lock PC fps then since thats unfair advantage.
60 fps on pc is max now. Cause fair…also your turn speed will be locked . Cause fair.

Pretty much same on MCC, and frankly, it was more annoying than actually helpful. There were times when I was trying to take out those pesky Jackal snipers, only for a Grunt to run across the screen dragging my aim away. Simply annoying.

Ok first off this game hasnt even technically launched yet. And it can be assumed most of the hiccups for m&k input will be weeded out.
Let’s look at a weapon like the sidekick. Your mouse has about a 1mm trigger pull to fire a shot. Controller users have to press a trigger that has about a 15mm length. That’s bs

Also pc users as of right now. Can overclock thier controllers. That’s bs as well

Also the majority of cheaters are pc users. You guessed it…bs

Yes, I agree, in the original Xbox One you have 30 fps if you are lucky because has frame drops all the time.

It seems there are two main reasons that console players want crossplay disabled:

• Console players don’t want to play against M&K and the much better performing machines
• Console players don’t want to play against cheaters

Console players don’t want to play against M&K. Why? Accuracy has already been debunked, controller w/ AA is much better than M&K. The advantages afforded to M&K (faster turning, no scoping with sniper is easier) are outweighed by the absolute laser shot afforded to controller with the overtuned AA. Controller players will argue that map awareness and team shot outweigh aim anyway, so what’s the problem?

Console players don’t want to play against cheaters. Why? Wait, so controller players don’t want to play against anyone with an artificial unfair advantage? Hold up, that’s exactly what M&K players have to do to play against controllers w/ their AA and their artificial advantage. So going back to point 1, if aim is such a small part of the game then just use your superior map awareness and team shot to beat the cheater. Easy, right?

In conclusion, advantage remains with console players. Console players should have to play against everyone and the only players that should have the option to turn off crossplay should be PC players using M&K. Thanks for reading.

I’m sorry, but regardless of the issues of aim assist atm, aim assist is not a wall hack or an aim bot. There’s a pretty stark difference between the two.

Why do you care if people want to disable crossplay anyways? Are you worried the PC version will die without the console players? Blame 343 at that point for not having better anti-cheat systems.

You can if you have the newer ones. The older xbox ones are locked at 30.

Xbox Series X should be able to get 120 FPS, but Xbox Series S is capped at 60 FPS, as far as I know.

Controller players don’t have an artificial advantage that’s just some nonsense raw data from a small sample size that doesn’t say anything. People have so badly misinterpreted this “data” by not even bothering to look into what it is and just saying “durrhurr controller beat M&K,” which has never been the case in any game, ever.

The scared of cheaters thing doesn’t make sense either. Cheats are just as prevalent on console via modded controllers if not more so than on PC.

People want an option to disable cross-play cause it’s there in every other game with cross-play. Also, the fact that K&M still dominates controller despite what some dude on Reddit says.

I’d rather deal with someone using xim than someone with a wall hack/aimbot.

You can deal with xim players pretty easily.

It is an unfair advantage. Just finished looking up on Halo tracker, didn’t even finish placements. As someone who plays exclusively on MnK and actually plays Ranked in Solo/Duo Input MnK and Open Que. FYI I’m Onyx, I can assure you it’s a night and day difference when playing against someone with a controller. Playing in open Que, you have to fundamentally change the way you play and start interactions with others and pick your engagements you know are in your favor. as for 1 vs 1 you will almost never win. Like 1/10 ratio. I play with a group of controller players. I basically support or play OBJ and make plays off them. On MnK ranked I break ankles all day. I’m not advocating for nerfs to AA but offer the suggestion of giving MnK players to place to run 4 stacks beside duo/solo in ranked.

Accuracy debunked according to whom? Cause I swear for years PC players of any game swear on their life and soul as the “masTa rAcE” that m&kn is the way to go and controller is training wheels. But ever since MCC and now infinite it’s not true? Yeah no. Hard time convincing me otherwise.

Your previous posts literally instigate arguments. People bring up points to you and you dismiss them and just say they can’t complain cause they use Aim Assist on console. Just because I want an option to disable cross play has nothing to do with aim assist

It’s Halo my guy. Not Valorant or CS Go. Controller demands Aim assist, else making precise movements with the controller joy stick is too difficult. You have a much higher chance at long range shots or using the sniper with mouse and key than controller. Idk why PC players don’t understand this. Like how long have you guys played Halo?
