If I wanted to play on the same map ad nauseum, I’d play a Battle Royale game. Thank goodness there’s now more variety when doing the challenges on LSS. I really hope they don’t do this again when they release more maps.

It was for the interference event. Agryna specifically says Eklund and Dinh were doing recon on Camber, the location where Breaker is located. So you Spartan was supposed to do some VR training or something also in that location. Now that the event is over, we can just play it on any map.
It made more sense for the event based on what was said in the cutscene.
I didn’t mind. There was a clear story-driven reason to do so and even then it was a new map with a new mode to play on and test/explore with that I ended up enjoying. For a week I was fine with that.
At least it wasn’t like Attrition where it appeared during an event and didn’t come back until Season 2

I get that, and the narrative aspect of it, but one whole week was overkill. Should’ve done something like your first XX matches were on Breaker… you’d see a “closing cutscene”, then the other maps unlock.
I’m just hoping the next event doesn’t lock you to a single map and mode for an excessive amount of time
In all honesty, a week is fine… Now it’s open to all maps for variety…
When half the challenges are tied to that one map, one week is too long

Dunno… I gave up when it was nearly one week 
Really annoying decision. I played enough LSS on one map for the event that now even though they have it on more maps, I have little desire to play it more. Some variety would’ve made the event a lot more enjoyable.
