Why didn't the Mark V (B) helmet return in Halo 5?

I actually liked the helmet it was cool-looking and it was only for use in Halo Reach for Noble Six, every other helmet that Noble Team wears makes appearance (except Grenadier) and they are Commando (renamed as Noble; worn by Carter/Noble 1), Air Assault (worn by Kat/Noble 2), Scout (worn by Jun/Noble 3), EVA/EVA (C) (renamed as Hermes/Orbital; worn by Emile/Noble 4), and 343 did return the Mark V(A) which was inspired by Master Chief in Halo: Combat Evolved.

And a side note: I wonder what “B” stands for, but it most likely stands for Beta since the “A” in Mark V (A) stands for Alpha, and while the “C” in EVA (C) either stands for “Carved”, “Carving”, or “Custom”.

Well, from the pictures, one of the new REQs in the Hammer Storm update looks like it was inspired by the Mark V . I forget the name, but it is the one with the large, black portion on top. Just a thought.

I heard somewhere that more Mark V variants will be put into the game, with the first being Mark V Alpha and the next possibly being Mark V (Bravo?)

IMO, the Decimator set in Hammerstorm is meant to be the Mark V (B). Some people disagree cause it’s a bit different, but so was Halo 5’s Mark V (A). I think it’s just a result of it being “343-ified”.

Decimator armor is inspired by it.
