i would have liked it if they did
I’m completely satisfied with their selection.
While a handful more would be appreciated, here are my reasonings:
They have to work on Halo 4.
They ran out of disk space.
Any more maps would constitute a $60 price-tag (As per effect of a second disk, to fit them.), enraging all of the pople who complaing about a $40 dollar price tag. (Don’t even get me started on those people…)
well atleast they could remake sidewinder
> well atleast they could remake sidewinder
Would of been sweet for BTB, I was disappointed that It didn’t make selection
> well atleast they could remake sidewinder
They didn’t want to remake maps already playable on the Xbox 360, Sidewinder is in Halo 3 under a reimagined version named Avalanche.
Adding all the maps would have been a LOT of work and with Halo 4 around the corner, not worth the resources.
i personally would have like to see them remake all or at least more of the halo ce maps and i would totally b willing to pay the 60 bucks
i rebuilding installation 04 its in the recruiting forums
Because CEA was a celebration of the 10 year anniversary of the Halo franchise as a whole, not just Halo 1. 343 look specifically at making popular maps from the past, specifically ones that do not have a counterpart on the 360.
headlong is on there it was from halo 2
Because some of them were awful and would have been a waste of time. The whole CE MP was made by three people, and some just weren’t up to snuff. Case in point, Chiron TL-34. UGH.
I would have liked Longest, but that could probably be forged easily.
Plus many have already been remade spiritually. Sidewinder, Rat Race, Blood Gulch, etc.
> headlong is on there it was from halo 2
Was it re-released as a remake in Halo 3? No.
No boarding action made me sadface as did the smaller timberland.
Maybe there were making a 7 reference.
i personally wich they did i would have been happy to pay 60 bucks for all the maps

Me too. Chiron would have been awesome. I would have pay an extra $20 for a full multiplayer.
Because there were some terrible maps in Halo 1, just like in every Halo title. That, the more maps there are, the more time it takes to test them, the more money goes into development, and the more the final product costs.

This.
However I do hope that 343i brings back some maps that are available in Halo 3 to Halo 4. It’s been 5 years ffs.
death island would of been nice

Something I’ve learned from the three programming classes I have taken. What may seem like a tiny issue to us may be a huge programming issue to fix. That being said, I can understand why they didn’t re-use every map.
What about Blood Gulch, that map startedRed Vs. Blue.
