Why didn’t 343 just start making a new series instead of adding to Halo? Theyre changing it so much it doesn’t even sound like Halo anymore. And don’t give me that o so you played Halo 4 already cause that’s just crap. I know what makes Halo Halo and these changes WILL NOT work in Halo’s perfect formula. 343 is fixing things that aren’t broken and it makes no damn sense. Sometimes I wish Halo ended in Halo 3 because it had a great ending and we wouldn’t have suffered through that piece of crap Reach.
It’s because or marketing. Halo sells. It’s the name. The people that don’t go on forums and check the information before they purchase the game are going to assume it’s like Halo 3. They have no idea what’s in store for them.
And besides, since Microsoft owns “Halo”, if 343 Industries didn’t pick up Halo, another company would have.
Then stay with the original trilogy. Nobody is forcing you to play Halo Reach. Nobody is forcing you to play Halo 4. Just close your eyes and pretend it was all a dream.
I get the feeling your upset, I have similiar feelings sometimes but we do still have to give Halo 4 a chance I’m not saying don’t complain but to say that you wish it never happened? That’s a bit extreme there is a difference between voicing your opinion and concerns of a beloved series (which is what a forum is for to the people who say that people that complain aren’t true fans) and making a thread in the heat of the moment.

First you attack people for using the valid statement of “Before you whine about something, play it first” and then go on to make that claim even more valid by saying Halo 4’s features will never work, mind you you have no experience to make that a valid fact.
the studio was formed with halo in mind why wouldn’t they. Frankie has said it himself multiple times that everyone who came there came too work on halo. Plus you aren’t ultimately the decider of what makes halo halo and you haven’t even played the game yet so save your opinions for later.
1.You must be one of the fanboys that think halo 2 was the best game evar and 343 should just re-release it with prettier graphics.
2.Change is good as long as they do it right i don’t halo to end up like cod just re-releasing the same crap over and over and over again with a slightly diffrent campaign and slightly better weapon&player models.
3.I know you said not to say this but seriously you have never played the game so quit judging.
4.You do realize there are like eight thousand of these threads allready out there just go to one of those please.
5.If you don’t like the game then sell it and buy cod 17 none of us will mind.

ok its very simple…Halo may be different but it continues the storyline of halo 3. you are saying it has nothing to do with halo but its accually th game that will start to awnser your questions about halo. read the books and you will understand. this story will explain the foreruners. that is all.

News flash! 343 was created specifically for Halo by Microsoft.
And these changes will work fine in the Halo formula. The NEW Halo formula. Halo is evolving, with or without you.
343i is a company that was created for the sole and direct purpose to take over directing the Halo franchise after Bungie left it. They’re a division of Microsoft Game Studios that was intended to direct the path of the series however they so desired and believed it should go.
I mean, really; have you even played any of the Halo games? Their name is a direct reference to something Halo-related. You would think that would be the big clue as to why they’re in existence.
