all friends getting halo 5, and its better
I’ve never really liked CoD, i only really played it for the campaign so i could get a few more achievements. Halo on the other hand is my jam and i’ll always get a Halo game.
Also i think my dad is getting BO3 so i’ll just borrow it off him to play the campaign.
Because I am better at Halo :). Also there isn’t anything Call of Duty has to offer me that looks compelling.
i like both, my mates and i play both… it really depends on what your looking for in a game
Why is diversity so hard for some people to grasp? I’m getting both Halo 5 and Black Ops 3. I definitely enjoy the Halo series more, but that doesn’t mean I can’t play both. I can’t tell you how many nights a few friends and I got together and played Zombies for 5 hours. There’s memories to be had in both games. Open your boundaries, people.

Halo has a good story, fun multiplayer and a good community. CoD is…CoD.
I am choosing Halo over BO3 for multiple reasons as well (Note that I have played the Halo 5 Beta and the BO3 Beta). The Halo storyline is always so much better and more satisfying than CoD imo, it has better characters, and more memorable moments. When someone dies in CoD, I usually don’t even care for the character, because the next game it’ll be another hero that “saves the world”. The multiplayer for Halo 5 looks absolutely stunning, and the arena beta was more than great. With the BO3 beta, it just seemed eh to me. All the concepts of it had been done before. Don’t get me wrong though, I’ll still be getting BO3 eventually, but I like Halo so much more.
I waited 3 long years for Chief and with Fallout 4 and Halo 5 all my free time will be destroyed 
Halo is the Star Wars of video games. COD is the Michael Bay transformer movies of video games.
Don’t get me wrong, Call of Duty is fun. But Halo is so much more.
Campaign - The Halo 5 story in particular is very intruiging from what I’ve seen so far. That and playing with friends? No question.
Multiplayer - Halo has additional levels of skill to it. Also a lot more variety in maps and gametypes. Not to mention forge, custom games, and now Warzone.
The fact that Halo is an entire and expansive universe in itself, and Halo 5 is making it’s stamp on that. You can’t rival that so easily.

I personally like both games but when it comes to picking from the too I’d go Halo 5 any day, been a fan of the franchise since I was a kid and hoping this will make me want to play again!
Halo is a deeper experience. The story has more depth to it and the multiplayer is far more fun and competitive. Call of Duty has just been too lazy in the past for me to want to go back. I can’t get enough of Halo.
Halo will actually have a story… I don’t know. Ever since MW2, COD has been severely dropping in quality. Halo, even with its small hiccups, continues to be a great experience.
I chose Halo 5 over Black Ops 3 due to the fact that I already own Titanfall and Titanfall is basically Black Ops 3 with more things.
The story, hands down. Plus, I was in both betas, and I liked the Halo 5 beta infinitely more.
because COD puts in barely any effort to enhance their engine, graphics, gunplay, etc. and halo innovates and experiments with every single element there can be, as well as doing a complete overhaul after each game and carrying the things that the community likes, rather than just adding exosuits and expecting game of the year
