Halo has always been better and more enjoyable then CoD in my opinion. Also It actually has a good, well written story.
Because Call of Duty is kinda -Yoink!-. It may be Black Ops, which is the more polished version of any CoD I’ve ever played, but it comes second to Halo every time.
On play CoD for Zombies. Will pick it up once it drops price.
I would get both but I’m too poor to afford both. So I bought what I think is more important to me and what I think will bring good memories. Obviously Black Ops 3.

> To be quite frank I didn’t choose Halo 5 over CoD for the simple reason of “just because its Halo”, I simply chose it over CoD was over quite a few reasons. The story is and will be much richer than CoD in every means. The Matchmaking has given me more to remember than just a game that has been a simple “I see you and you’re dead” kind of game, ah Halo 3 death cries. Forge, is another reason because of the creativity Bungie and 343 has given us to play with our friends and other people alike. Theater and Customs, just watching funny clips and creating gametypes like Chess, Floormaster, Cops and Robbers, etc. These alone have given me more the reason to buy and play Halo for years to come.

Its funny how half the reasons you mentioned wont even be in halo 5 but whatever. Not hating here but you should read up on what halo 5 is going to be like, not what every other halo has been. 343 has done a great job of cutting things we like out of the game.

I got halo LCE, I’ll get BO3. I’ll defiantly play halo 5 more than black ops because I’m just a bigger fan of the universe and gameplay.
I didn’t choose halo, halo choose me. Been playing halo forever and love the lore. Black ops doesn’t have any of this for me. Halo stole my heart.
Getting both
I am simply going to get halo 5 and rather get halo 5 because I have not ones got a black ops game.This isn’t my only reason.i would do this because I think the story between master chief and Cortana it more exciting than the black ops games.I like the way the story between master Chie and Cortana connect and there are some actual feeling in the game
I stopped with cod after AW now only will stick to halo 5 and the series got stale for me.
Well, to be quite honest, I am purchasing both. Both Halo games and Call of Duty games made by Treyarch have always been my favourite. I find that they both have great campaigns and multiplayer. I’m a massive fan of Halo’s story, so there was no way I was going to miss this game. With the new characters, enemies, gameplay mechanics and game modes that 343i have been advertising, there is absolutely no way I could not be hyped for this game. I can’t wait to find out how the galaxy is changed by the Guardians, what exactly Cortana is up to and how Master Chief clashes with Locke. This game is absolutely perfect to pick up with 3 other friends and just have a blast in Campaign, Arena and Warzone.
Throughout the past 6 or 7 years, I’ve spent most of my time playing Halo and CoD Zombies. This is why Black Ops 3 is an obvious purchase for me as well. The new zombies mode looks awesome and the multiplayer is very smooth and works extremely well. The dark and gritty campaign that they have been advertising also looks very interesting and I look forward to playing it.
I guess that at the end of the day, it’s all about player preference, whether you like something more grounded it modern “what if” settings, or prefer something more futuristic and magical. These two series’ have been a very significant part of my history with games, so I choose both. Sorry for being so greedy
I didnt choose it over cod. I have weird reason for you guys. I bought xbox one becuse of cod haha. Because its the fact that there is no dedicated servers in Thailand and ive been strugling high ping (122ms,) since black ops 2. There are dedicated servers in my region on x1 and thats why i jumped into x1. Anyway, i choose them both eventhough i will end up playing cod more eventually
Halo games have always lasted longer than COD games in terms of the amount of activities you can do in Halo.

It doesn’t have a richer story. Actually, Black Ops 3 has the biggest campaign in any CoD yet (15 hours, 4 player coop squad like Halo 5, squad ability development, big open spaces with different routes, etc.) You can say that you prefer Halo’s story, but not that it’s richer. Actually, CoD campaigns have always been pretty great, but this one is looking very promising. More than 5. Especially since I know Halo 5’s plot, and I personally think it’s very ridiculous.
Also, Black Ops 3 has 4 player splitscreen with consistent 60 fps. Yeah; it’s possible.
Bo3 is launching with 11 matchmaking modes (with more to come), 2 new extra game modes, custom games with TONS of options, and zombies.
That’s why I’m gonna wait a while on Halo 5 and stick to Bo3 for a while.
