Thought I was suppose to have fun playing a game? Both games are fun and I don’t think there’s a need to look further then the fact it’s great entertainment. Have fun and use the game to your liking.
Fact that halo takes skills to play and you can do so much more when you get tired of online play, while COD is just point and shot and scream all day.
I didn’t choose. I love Halo and grew up with the series while Black Ops I play for the zombies mode 
The quality of Call of Duty games has gone downhill every year.

Now I like dying fast in games because Im good in them BF4 2.00 KD BFH 3.00 KD how ever I love halo for 2 main reasons first I grew up with the story I know it like it was real. second it is very chalannging multiplayer
Simple: I enjoy Halo more. Sci-Fi, blasting aliens…it’s what I grew up with & I don’t plan to stop anytime soon!
Halo was what i grew up playing it is my childhood and cod stopped interesting me after mw2 since i like the stories that are in games. cod just focuses on mindless multiplayer experience.

Halo is a class of its own though.
I grew up on Halo. I’ve play CoD and Battlefield, but I always end up back at Halo 
Like a lot of people have already said - it’s the lore and nostalgia that keeps bringing me back to Halo. They got me back in the CE days and I’ve been giving them my money ever since.
CoD games ended for me at MW2
I only like cod for blops zombies now. not sure if I want to spend $60-120 just for zombies though. but halo is where it all began for me.

Well the Halo series is a set of games with a continuous ongoing story. The COD series does not share that.
Halo also has a story worth following at all… There is a TON of lore in the Halo series – not so much with COD. To each their own, but I prefer Halo and I have no need for COD while one is out for the newest generation (ie. now).
Hype for halo was too great. COD it’s same story over and over again

The story is and will be much richer than CoD in every means. The Matchmaking has given me more to remember than just a game that has been a simple “I see you and you’re dead” kind of game, ah Halo 3 death cries. Forge, is another reason because of the creativity Bungie and 343 has given us to play with our friends and other people alike. Theater and Customs, just watching funny clips and creating gametypes like Chess, Floormaster, Cops and Robbers, etc. These alone have given me more the reason to buy and play Halo for years to come.

Call of Duty is the same game every year with re-skinned levels and a new coat of paint.
There are videos on youtube showing how over the years they’ll use levels from one game, put them into the newest game, and then change the skin on it. The video showed every two seconds switching between four different CoD games and moved through the levels the exact same way.
Also I know Ghost copied the same exact ending of Modern Warfare 2.
If that is what you consider a quality and fun game then I have no interest in playing games with you.
I played Call of Duty 1-4 and World of War was it for me. I haven’t touched one since then.

Halo has a good story. CoD series campaign has always been boring.
