Well i think i´m getting both :v
CoD was lost to me after Waw. I choose Halo because that is what got me into online gaming. It’s a cherished experience I will not forget. I think the campaign and lore is amazing, along with a competitive multiplayer enjoyable with friends
Really hoping this game gets the support it deserves and has a large community. To me it seems like there’s alot more variety in this over cod.

He clearly just likes that style of gameplay and options. Just as one of things I liked about Halo was the even starts, minus halo 4 which is by far my least favorite halo. I think it’s clear your pretty bias here OP and no I’m not a COD fan at all if you must know. I’ve been playing Halo since the first month Halo CE came out. Well Im not meaning to sound bias, that’s not what I going for, but just from me playing CoD before has gotten me to think its the same year after year, with a few new tweaks here and there. I was simply asking why he played the series, but yes I can see how Halo has retained a lot of similar things with each installment but I feel Halo has grown more with innovation rather than CoD, though no everyone is copying everyone.
Besides the fact, that i have loved halo since the first one . It is Halo 5’s community that sets it apart the most.
Halos story will always out win COD, halo could be nothing but story and i would still play it, i mean i played halo 3 for two years with no xbox live glitching out of levels and building things in forge, the playback on halo games just go for soo much longer without dlc or live

Last two CoDs sealed the deal with me, no more.
I grew up with Halo haha. Too many 12 year olds on CoD

CoD is so repetitive and i find halo is way more interesting.
Halo has way better story and CoD is just the same old game with new makeover on the old servers.

Well I could say the same thing about Halo. Halo has been the same thing year after year (minus halo 4 which was so-so and different, more like COD) with a few tweaks here and there and added features, no different then COD. He plays it because he likes it, just as you like Halo, just as I like Halo. We just prefer Halo, he likes both. A few of my friends Hate Halo and like COD more. Some are opposite, some like both. COD has as much innovation as Halo does. COD has added features just as Halo has. They both have also taken away some too. Even know it’s looking like Halo 5 cut more older features that were in past halo games then what CODBO3 has from past COD games.
I’m sorry but I’m just really tired of people saying this game is the same every year, or that. Nothing changes, oh but this game does, when it reality it’s not. You just prefer it more is all. If a person likes something, they’ll keep playing it, simple as that. Case in point, you like Halo more, you play Halo more. As do I. I could name you all the reasons why I like Halo more, but it’ll be too long lol Halo is just more my cup of tea.
Forge, vehicles, custom games, better story, and the awesome customization options are what got me hooked on the games. Besides, who doesn’t want to be an armored up genetically modified super-solider?
I bought both so ye.
I hope Halo 5 kills destiny…
I am getting both Halo and Bo3 only because it is a Black ops game and in the past the black ops series has been good.
