Halo’s lore, mostly. I don’t particularly care for any of the CoD stories or anything like that, as opposed to the fully fleshed out and interesting expanded universe of Halo.

I choose halo over cod because…well kinda for the same reasons everybody else did but I choose because me and cod have a bad blood…I won’t go into detail about

COD s&ck that’s it
Because it’s Halo 5, the one and only reason I would ever buy an Xbox for.
I’ve just never cared for CoD. Halo is really the only FPS that I cared about since the old Quake 2 days. If it weren’t for -Yoink!- Zombies I’s never have play a CoD game. I just don’t see the fascination with it. And I guess I like fantasy more. I guess having fired real weapons the opportunity to simulate it just doesn’t appeal to me. And most importantly Halo has always put some care into a Campaign mode. It’s the story and characters that drive me to play a game. Without a compelling story it’s just another game with guns. But that’s just my preference. If you are a CoD fan, more power to you. As long as you’re having fun.
I do like Cod but halo is way superior, the gameplay, the story, characters, and anything else is better, and I have grown up with Halo, Go Spartans!

The story is and will be much richer than CoD in every means. The Matchmaking has given me more to remember than just a game that has been a simple “I see you and you’re dead” kind of game, ah Halo 3 death cries. Forge, is another reason because of the creativity Bungie and 343 has given us to play with our friends and other people alike. Theater and Customs, just watching funny clips and creating gametypes like Chess, Floormaster, Cops and Robbers, etc. These alone have given me more the reason to buy and play Halo for years to come.

Halo will always have much more to offer than the COD Franchise. There is a whole universe on Halo and sadly the same can’t be said for COD

The only reason I do play COD is for zombies. So Agreed in that sense
Personally, I enjoy both games. Halo does (and always has) have a different “feel” to it, granted this one seems a bit closer to the CoD series this time around - which really isn’t a bad thing. I think the biggest push for me this time around is personalization and the important of esports in general in the game. We’ll see how healthy it is in a few months - but I’m optimistic.
Cod went stale with me. Played up until Blops 2, then I decided it wasn’t worth it any more. If Cod was just a 20 dollar game that included only zombies and campaign then I would still get it. Putting the square in the square hole requires more skill than 1-3 shotting a guy with an automatic rifle. Most people put the circle in the square hole…
