I normally love CoD for the first week or two, but then almost never play it. This year I decided to resist temptation and just stick with Halo
CoD cant reach back to my childhood and give me warm fussy feels.
I hate call of duty and I hate buying the stupid games. Halo I have been playing since I was a child about 6 or 7. I’m ready to play as Master Chief and kill Locke and save the day!! Down with ONI!!!
Halo is better for people that want to be more rewarded for their time spent getting better at a game. CoD is for the casual weekend warrior.

The story is and will be much richer than CoD in every means. The Matchmaking has given me more to remember than just a game that has been a simple “I see you and you’re dead” kind of game, ah Halo 3 death cries. Forge, is another reason because of the creativity Bungie and 343 has given us to play with our friends and other people alike. Theater and Customs, just watching funny clips and creating gametypes like Chess, Floormaster, Cops and Robbers, etc. These alone have given me more the reason to buy and play Halo for years to come.

I only chose Halo 3 before BO3 because of release dates. I will be playing both. Going to stick to MP for Halo at first, switching between FPS games I lose my muscle memory. #oldfart

I picked halo 5 because I have been with halo ever since halo ce came out. Its the first game I remember playing
I like Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare and it’s sequel wasn’t bad either, but I was done with COD a long time ago. They’ve simply been releasing the same game over and over again.
I might get bo3 also I am not sure yet. I didn’t really enjoy the beta.

What it really all boils down to in the end though is simply this, Halo is a well crafted game and cod is a lazy copy and paste of last years game. Given the choice to pay £50 for a huge feast of the best food in the world or pay the same price to eat a handful of dirt what would you rather pick? Its common sense really.
Because TBH I got bored of the COD series, plain and simple.

Seems like a really silly reason not to buy the game unless you only ever planned to play Halo 5 splitscreen and not spend a single second playing it solo. Still your choice I guess.
Halo creates an extensive fantasy universe that is nice to jump into.

I haven’t played a CoD game since Modern Warfare II and honestly I havent ever heard my friends rave much about the installments after that other than Black Ops which hasn’t really lasted long with them either. Halo is just something a lot more fun for me, especially griffball and I love forging and playing other peoples forge creations. the SAW inspired ones were great haha. The story in Halo and the Universe is just so deep and rich and I’m glad they brought back the hidden skulls. I remember spending hours playing with the gigantic hidden soccer ball in Halo 2 and fun things like that. also I remember my first -Yoink!- in Halo 2. gaming was never the same after that
I’d rather play a match of halo in peace than hear 9 yr old squeakers screaming down the mic and telling me they slept with my mother in a call of duty match…
