Because Halo is the better game franchise. Plus, this game franchise is what got me started on the Xbox.
Trying to think the best way I can put this… Halo is probably one of the most memorable games of all time, Call of Duty on the other hand is one of the most forgettable games of all time. I could listen to a weapon being fired and just by the sound I could tell exactly what Halo game is being played because each game has its own unique sound design, same goes for viewing screenshots I would instantly know what game is what. However I could watch footage of every cod game since MW and have no idea which game it was, its just so bland and dull. For example if someone said describe a character from Halo I would have no problem because all the characters are fairly interesting, however I cant think of a single memorable character from cod, I know one guy was called Soap but I know nothing else, don’t know if he had family, friends, a real name or even a personality. Comparing cod to Halo is like comparing any great actor to Kim Kardishian, one of them is clearly huge for a reason and works hard for it, the other is only famous for being famous and basically desperately trying to keep itself relevant by staying in the public eye (like how cod brings out a game every year). Imagine if they stopped making cod games for 3 years in a row, I bet everyone would forget about it or stop caring.

I never skip out on Halo
Because I haven’t purchased a Call of Duty game since Modern Warfare 2. Can’t believe people still buy that game since it’s just the same thing over and over again.

Stopped playing COD after MW series ended, one of the best games (Only MW 1-3), countless hours spent playing. But Halo is the reason I bought the original Xbox back in the day. Every time a new Halo game comes out, all my old friends who barley get a chance to game can jump on for a few weeks.
Ive always loved the halo storylines better the the cod storylines. multiplayer wise i think ever game is special. i chose halo for its story and it looks flipping amazing (heart eye emoji here)
even with marshawn lynch being a character in BO3, after Advanced warfare my image of COD has been tainted. i feel that series is getting farther and farther away from its core. i just cant bring myself to even think about picking it up new. maybe used in like a year.
I never consider buying CoD 
Because I already bought BO3 5 years ago. I stopped buying any CoD game because it’s the same thing every time.
Because CoD is a rushed yearly twitch shooter, with a rabid community of toxic screamers. It’s also got a boring story/stories for me. I could get lost for days in Halo’s lore, and a lot of the people I met back when I played 4 were pretty fun to party up with.
Because its Halo & nothing else even comes close… for me anyway.
Halo is the only reason i got an xbox in The first place its just an outstanding franchise that brings back alot of good memories with my friends and my cousins we all love this game and will continue too support it and keep on playing it. its one of the best and most influential games i have ever played ik im a halo nerd and im proud xD
Not just the story, but better online entertainment and maps 
I’ll get both, but only play BO3 for Zombies… haven’t enjoyed CoD matchmaking for quite some time. Halo is where ill be getting most of my multiplayer done.
Because I play games for story & competition, not just “First to see wins”
I have been a Halo player since day 1 and even though I did play CoD for a while, the novelty has worn off. That never happened for me personally with Halo and I really enjoy this series a lot. My fireteam also genuinely enjoys the campaign more than any other FPS we’ve ever played.
