halo is a game with logic stories and with good multiplayers
BO3 is a game with no stories and the multiplayers is bad

Same here. saved myself plenty of money in the process. CoD is going downhill
I love the COD games but… Halo comes out first !
CoD isn’t all that but its still pretty fun. Halo is just a lot more fun.
Cause I don’t like CoD and Halo’s my favorite
Cause Halo is Love, Halo is Life.

> To be quite frank I didn’t choose Halo 5 over CoD for the simple reason of “just because its Halo”, I simply chose it over CoD was over quite a few reasons. The story is and will be much richer than CoD in every means. The Matchmaking has given me more to remember than just a game that has been a simple “I see you and you’re dead” kind of game, ah Halo 3 death cries. Forge, is another reason because of the creativity Bungie and 343 has given us to play with our friends and other people alike. Theater and Customs, just watching funny clips and creating gametypes like Chess, Floormaster, Cops and Robbers, etc. These alone have given me more the reason to buy and play Halo for years to come.
> Thank you Bungie and 343I
Just bcuz chief
Halo, hands down. Better story line, better multiplayer, and pretty much better everything!
I did because i dont like cod

CoD just isn’t the same anymore IMO. After Black Ops is when it started to go downhill for me… BO2 was pretty good, but thats when it started getting all techy and weird. I honestly enjoyed ghosts as it was more “modern,” but i will admit that the game was horribly developed, at least the port for PC was terrible (i’m a PC gamer at heart.) I played advanced warfare during a free steam weekend and uninstalled after a whole 2 matches. Just didn’t like the feel. I played the BO3 beta and it got even more weird with the wall running and everything… That’s Titanfall’s deal… Although i’ll probably end up buying BO3 because we LAN it during lunch at the office, I just wish CoD would go back to the days of MW2 and i’d be happy again.
Because COD is a dead and very repetitive franchise, Halo keeps evolving in combat (aka Halo CE)
I’m getting both, but I’ll mainly play Halo, just want to try BO3 “realistic mode”, probably won’t play multiplayer much
I am choosing Halo 5 over BO3 because I played the beta and wasnt impressed enough to go back. COD hasnt been that great since BO2.
Because it’s superior in every definable way.
I’ve been a devoted Halo fan from the beginning. I’m interested in CoD, and will probably pick it up, but I’ve been fascinated by the Halo universe since the first time I logged into Halo CE in my Freshmen dorm room in college. So, though I likely won’t necessarily be “choosing,” I will still always opt for Halo as my first choice.
Ditto,. I play it Because it’s mostly what I and my friends have played since we were young. Now it’s what we do
Because CoD got glitchy and boring. And I am extremely biased towards the Halo franchise.
I chose Halo over BO3 because BO3 has gotten old and the stories are just like, meh, Lets just do a cheap story, so I liked halo because the story is amazing, the best shooter I know, I love it because of the intense multiplayer, and thats why I chose halo over BO3
You can choose both you know. Overall, I love both franchises and don’t understand why fans of games carry such animosity toward other franchises.
Having said that, Black Ops 3 will be the first COD I pass on. I see what they are going for in terms of all the acrobatics, it gives COD that arena twitch quake like feel. Which is all fine and good, but its just not the experience I want when I play COD. Previous COD’s were all about line of sight knowledge and reaction time. Knowing where people engage and knowing how to exploit that. Having the wherewithal to corner check for common campers. And the reactionary aptitude to pull off those 180 degree turnaround drop shots (that you know cause your opponent so much rage). But the problem all these new acrobatic brings to game play is, it makes controlling and managing lines of sight unstable. It becomes a very random and chaotic experience. Having everyone buzzing around like flys is not fun imo.
One thing Halo 5 did very well is, all the acrobatics are supplemental to the experience, and do not drastically alter basic line of sight FPS norms.
I have played every CoD & Halo game this year i choose to not get CoD on launch at least!
