I like Halo and I haven’t been interested in a CoD games since Black ops.
For me it was bcz Halo manadged to stay Halo. This is what went through my mind with the Black Ops games. “BO was amazing. BO2 was okay. BO3… Wait… BO3 is a black ops game?” That’s why I chose Halo. Black Ops 3 failed to feel like a Black Ops games. Also, I’m excluding zombie when I’m talking about this just so you know.
Bought Halo 5, bought Black Ops 3, COD will pass the time until Fallout 4.
Halo has always been the superior FPS.
COD is repetitive as -Yoink- and is just yearly while with Halo, I don’t mind the wait.
I picked it over bo3 just because of the fact that bo3 is the same as all the others, nothing new and exciting. Halo however keeps me on the edge of my seat and I’m never been so pumped for a game!
To me Halo has one of the best universes in any fictional space. I cannot wait to hear the teams stories from the campaign of Halo 5. CoD has no universe, there is nothing to expand on.
I am in the “because its halo” group
Halo will always be better
I enjoy both franchises, and thought that both series took a couple of missteps with their latest iterations (Advanced Warfare and Halo 4)
I am hopeful for both, but the reason for me choosing Halo 5 first (not necessarily instead of) is relatively simple:
In addition to the controls and features of shooter gameplay coming back to where I was comfortable (and then expanding on it), Halo 5 looks to offer such a diverse multiplayer, particularly with the customisation options and the dreamy looking new Forge mode, -that it’s possible that I can experience something new in multiplayer every single day. Replayability + play time above and beyond it’s closest competitor.
I hope Halo 5 is fantastic, and by the looks of it, it surely might be.
Because Halo takes skill and despite me not being very good at it I think that a harder game will help my FPS skill overall! Also I love Halo
The story is way better and multiplayer requires actual skill. Also, Master Chief is awesome!
I’ll be doing both, probably more Halo, but will also be enjoying BO3 (if it is enjoyable
)
I Bought Both too.
I think the BO3 was good but I didn’t have fun playing, I guess im just tired of COD after maxing out every game since 2007. (Excluding AW)
The Halo 5 beta was great! Most fun I’ve had in years in a console FPS game. Only 8 hours and 25 minutes until I can play now
I am picking Halo 5: Guardians over Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 because I love having a well told story that makes me care about the characters. I have been a huge fan of Halo since Combat Evolved. Halo is just like an interactive movie and Call of Duty fails to do that since World at War. Halo keeps me interested level after level while Call of Duty can get boring rather quickly. I have fun every time I boot up the game. Cal of Duty is only fun at certain points. I will be picking up Halo 5: Guardians tonight and keep playing it until Halo 6’s launch. Black Ops 3 will come and go and I will not even notice it because I’ll be busy with Halo 5: Guardians.
COD duty lost its way when it forgot the basics that made it great. COD was corner to corner sweet fighting with a great deal of accuracy in the shots required to kill someone. Now its full of jump packs, flying over buildings; the original sight lines have all gone. The kill streaks have become ridiculous.
Halo always has been about the brawling and intense team play. Made great by a brilliant matchmaking system and rank system.
Cod is dying
halo is not dying.I think halo 5 is next step in gaming
I getting both, I’m excited for both, but it remains to be seen which one I play more when its in my hands. I’m hoping Arena and Warzone capture my attention the way Halo 3 multiplayer did.
the only reason i did is because im a hardcore halo fan, and have been since it first came out way back in the original xbox, CODs games are good but cant’t stand up to the halo franchise
