Why does everyone feel the need to choose a side?
Ill be enjoying both games.

I agree, I don’t want to be back in the military. I want to play Halo. I like that I can get the best of someone even when they get the jump on me . The fun of the shield system
I’ve never owned any COD titles, I’ve only ever played them with my friends. It was fun running and gunning online with them, but it was mainly their company that I enjoyed. If I got BO3, I would be playing it by myself and it wouldn’t be nearly as fun without someone next to me playing in split screen. Halo, on the other hand, is always enjoyable whether I’m with a friend or by myself (unless I’m having a terrible losing streak).
Halo is much more fun than cod… always has, always will
The Master Chief and I have been saving humanity for the last 14 years. No chance I was going to let the Master Chief, or humanity, down now! CoD is fun in short bursts, but isn’t nearly as immersive as Halo. I’ve definitely gotten more out Halo, both in single player replay value and multiplayer. But it also extends to the quality of the story told and universe created. A tip of my hat to 343 for not ruining something wonderful!
I will be buying both, but I think halo 5 will be my main choice when coming to decide which to play with friends
I was originally going to get BO3 but then I saw this… the graphics looked stunning, the gameplay fast and interesting and I always loved halo from the very beginning. The weapons are also so original compared to COD. And 21 maps at launch OMG. The story is spectacular and hundreds of options in armor customization. You would be silly to choose BO3 over this.
I only buy the CoD games that look interesting to me, AW was but BO3 isn’t really. Black Ops 1 & 2 were pretty good but very little of the story stuck with me after finishing them and I can’t remember who most of the characters were let alone their names. Halo on the other hand is one of the few games where I’ve sought out the extra lore/story and I enjoy playing the games (a novel concept I know).

In my opinion call of duty has been over loaded with too many gimmicks.
There is no skill invoved any more its far to easy to be shot in the back or randomly blown up.
To fix it they need to re-release a COD 4 definitive edition with new maps and maybe new armour and camo customisation cosmetic stuff only.
Or a new WW2 barebones game will do.
Any way back to Halo: Skill ranking is back all hail halo!!
Halo always comes before CoD
Halo has so much more character and involvement than any CoD game could ever produce.

Same here. Cod is so boring and just recycling everything all the time and don’t get me started on DLC and the story. Halo for the win
Halo has more than COD(whatever) and as time goes on COD is starting to emulate Halo more and more. Halo not only has great mechanics, matchmaking, editor and visuals - it has story. And with that story comes heart.
Plus there’s nothing quite like fighting alien zombies. Or jumping on the throne of a prophet and punching his face in.

I just enjoy skill ranks. I have never played a CoD more than a month or 2 because it gets boring fast for me. I need something to work for more than an experience rank next to my name that means nothing. I dont think i have ever prestiged more than once…it always seemed liek the most pointless thing to do…start over after i finally unlocked everything. Also the quick TimeToKill makes the game have a lot of campers. i like halo where camping will put u at a disadvantage since u wont have any power weapons.
Halo is just the game i know i have the most fun in. and now that there are skill rankings again, i know im going to have something to work for.
