Halo’s multiplayer is better
Halo’s story is better
but god -Yoink!- zombies are awesome! that’s why i bought both… 
Choice? What choice? I’ll automatically go for the better game: Halo.

I love Halo. With that said I took a chance last year and bought Advanced Warfare. It was decent at best and with no dedicated servers and another game coming out a year later (BO3) it turned me off to CoD again. I feel stupid for even wasting my money on it, but there were no games for the XBox at the time really. I won’t be buying BO3 either. Mostly because I don’t want to get screwed again with P2P if there are no Dedicated servers, but also because I ran the Beta for like two matches and it just isn’t for me. Halo on the other hand… that beta back in January left me wanting to play more (I haven’t had that from Halo since Halo 2 where I played around 10k games between my 3 accounts). Halo 5 just feels polished when it coems to the gameplay and that’s why I am getting it. It wasn’t a competition between them. I’d have bought both if BO3 was actually good (in my opinion).
I’ve always preferred Halo to CoD. For one thing Halo has such a good story and lore tied to it. Also, I only had money for one of the two games and I’ll get more mileage out of Halo anyways.
I played both betas and went with the game I enjoyed.
Played AW, hated it. Love Halo. That should suffice.
There are so many intricate reasons why Halo completely destroys COD in every aspect. Compressed skill gap, lack of a good campaign, repetitiveness, low TTK, and stupid map design are all things that plague Call of Duty, none of which really affect Halo. Halo is laughably better than COD, which is why I have never so much as considered buying BO3.

- Halo is competitive, a 10yr old can be good at cod
- cod used to be fun, it’s not anymore
- Halo has a huge universe to explore and interesting characters, cod does not
- cod is a cash cow, H5G FREE DLC
- cod has gotten way too fast paced
- H5G > COD
I’m not a fan of reflex shooters with sluggish controls. Halo also has a richer universe that encompasses multiple forms of entertainment.
There never was a choice, until last week I didn’t know black ops 3 was a thing. * goes back under halo rock*
Never been a cod guy so easy decision for me. I’m not that keen on games that revolve around shooting first, prefer shooters that require more teamwork like Halo.
I enjoy BF but Iv been around Halo since 2001. Ill never pick anything over it. Ill probably pick up battle field sometime soon but right now, I just wanna play Halo lol
CoD is over played and no matter how many times they alternate between modern, old or future combat, it is always the same trash. Played the Blops 3 beta and barely had fun. Cancelled the pre-order and never looked back. Halo, on the other hand, looks great and I know I will enjoy the game every time I boot it up. It’s a simply choice. Halo will obviously be better.
I choose Halo over CoD because CoD has just gotten to repetitive. Its the same kind of skeleton story each time.
Killstreaks ruined CoD for me. They encourage bad campy play.
Ever since MW2 the only CODs I liked were Black Ops, and the first 2 didn’t disappoint, So I have high hopes for BO3, but thing is though… Halo 5 and Fallout 4 blow BO3 out of the water for me so I probably wont even pick up BO3
Halo 5 is new. BO3 is not. I stopped playing after Black ops 2, I should have stopped after MW2
