I’m getting both.
The past two Call of Duty’s have been mediocre but I still look forward to the zombies mode in Black Ops 3 and based on the beta the multiplayer seems to have improved a lot. Nevertheless, Halo 5 ALL DAY, EVERYDAY.
I chose Halo simply for it being the superior shooter.

Halo is a Online sensation it has never failed in amusing the fans of the franchise
Black ops is not halo
CoD is the same garbage every year.
It all started with Halo some 14 years ago and will continue as long as they make the series.
The game gives you great stories with characters you can get emotionally attached too, plus an amazing multiplayer experience.

Halo doesn’t dumb itself down (except h4), it requires tactics and rewards players who know weapon spawns and map vantage points. I love the community features like theatre, forge, file share, custom games, spartan companies and the new spectator mode. However I am sad it won’t launch with forge, even though it looks epic
For one, I NEED HALO. I don’t like CoD, and I’m not saying I hate it because I love Halo… I want to like and enjoy any CoD title, but there’s something about the camera movement, wobbles, and shakes that makes me nauseous when I play. It’s not so bad in multiplayer and I can stomach a few matches…But I can’t play campaign without wanting to puke. I’ve tried everything from wearing sunglasses, taking a dramamine, you name it. The last CoD I owned was the first MW. I recently tried to play AW but I still couldn’t do it. It sucks because a lot of my friends play CoD all the time and I feel like I miss out.

Halo always has that multiplayer that I can go back to if I’m tired of another game I’m playing, or if I just feel like chilling with my friends. CoD never had any of that, it was always just the same kind of matches, with the same three top tier weapons being used. With halo there has always been a distinct balance.
Plus, CoDs story is just terrible. Not even really close to Halos in terms of the universe and the lore.
CoD died with the original Call of Duty 2 xbox 360 launch title! Long live HALO.
