I don’t play COD cause I’m not interested in a fps that takes very little skill, has the same boring game play in it’s campaign, has overpriced DLC, and the fanbase mostly consists of screaming little kids who think they’re the best because they can quickscope, and COD is a game that has built in lag so that’s why half of your shots don’t register.
I like the Sci-Fi genre, the story is more expanded on with books, comics, movies, etc. and overall I love the multiplayer a lot more with Forge and Custom Games.
Halo because Halo.
For me it was one over the other but Halo’s story has always been great even if I didn’t play much of the MP in the last two games and the last two CODs were terrible.
I barely played Advanced Titanfall…I mean Warfare it was so bad and Ghost was just awful. I decided that I wasn’t going to purchase COD this time around.
actually will be getting both only because I like to troll on COD lol only enjoyment I can get out of that game anymore
Halo 5 looks to have an incredible story and the best multiplayer since Halo 3. Black Ops III just looks like the same old thing with a story as boring and lifeless as a Michael Bay film.

It’s a rhetorical question out of why Halo will always trump COD. Short answer: competition. I can’t rely on a killstreak or sitting in the corner with C4. I have to go out and out strafe, out gun, and out smart my opponent.
Besides that T-bagging takes the cake
not a hard choice better story, better multiplayer, better community, better gameplay and more replay value to me I haven’t enjoyed a cod game since world at war

High five. They should have cut the cord at BO1. Keep the WW2/Vietnam era alive. There’s sons they could touch on but decide not to. A campaign focusing on battle like hamburger hill? (Look it up) would be nothing short of amazing. But ya know, quick cash grabs and literal rip offs

More mature community in Halo. Developers who care and listen to community concerns.
I prefer to play battlefield but if i had to choose between cod and halo i’d say halo because i really like the cosutm games and forge aspect of the game
Personally I have chosen to get both. Mostly because I love Halo and I like Black Ops for the Zombie mode and will play both equally as I have in the past. Ok well I will really be playing Halo 5 more lol.

Can you elaborate to a guy that has tried Zombies senselessly only to be filled with disappointment as to why its so grand to the masses? The headshots alone get me. Have you guys not tried L4D before? And BTW 343i, make a mode like -Yoink!- zombies but focus it on the flood. Royalty check plz
Because I’m not a fan of CoD. Got Advanced Warfare and Ghosts for free when I bought my xbone and thought they were meh.
My reasoning for getting Halo 5 over BO3 is that I will eventually get BO3 due to the need for my zombies that they are good at making… that’s it… only that… Halo just plays better at everything else, from the campaign to the multiplayer, it’s got it in the bag when it comes to playability, and if you noticed, the trend has swapped where BO is now trying to be more like Halo. Sadly though, due to the fandom of COD, it’ll probably sell more.
Because halo isn’t recycled garbage. But here’s my real reason. Cod is only good for the multiplayer and zombies. Which I’m pretty sure most of us had a fare amount of time playing. But halo is different then most fps. People actually want to play the campaign, learn more about the halo universe. Learn about the lore of everything inside halo. Halo is really interesting and the campaign, multiplayer, forge, firefight, custom games, and Spartan ops are amazing game types and people play them a lot everyday. Halo is just fun in general. Everything about it.
