A party of 4, searching in a 4 v 4 only playlist, shouldn’t be able to join in progress and be split up. Fix this whenever the title update happens?
…wait, that can happen?
I’ve never been split up with my team through JIP
I didn’t even know that could happen… that has to be one the dumbest things I’ve heard of
I don’t even know if 343 even put any thought into the JIP system. You think that the best and most fair thing to do in a pre-game lobby would be to set equal teams if someone leaves and the number is still even, but no. There’s no reason why it should make 3v1 games and the like when the sytem can make it 2v2. Don’t forget (my personal favorite) those games that start with only one team and end instantly. This needs to be fixed.
Yeah it’s happened to me quite a few times so far. Probably the thing that upsets/irritates me the most. It makes NO sense. We search with a party of 4 to avoid randoms/JIP…and get put into a JIP game and get split 2 and 2 or 3 and 1.
Why?
I have been split up with my team with JIP, That is kind of a problem. If I want to play vs my friends i’ll just set up a custom, but when we’re playing matchmaking together we don’t want to be on separate teams.
A majority does not like the JIP and how it works. For me I don’t like JIP at all, however I think JIP is a good addition to the game if we had a separate Social and Ranked Playlist. Social with JIP and Guests, and Ranked without. As long as it doesn’t split up your team.
join in progress shouldnt even be in halo, who ever thought of this is lame, its not fun when u start playing go into matchmaking and blam! u join in progress to see that your down by 150 - 300. I’ve join a game that the score was 80 - 400 u cant win with those odds unless your team just magically stops getting killed and everyone goes beast mode.
This needs to be taken out.
I just got the Crimson map pack on Monday and so far I’ve not seen any players join in progress on those maps. One team is often badly outnumbered and it’s annoying.
I don’t think it shouldn’t even be possible to split up a party in matchmaking.
