just wondering if someone could tell me why they used those models.
Recycling models saves time?
I just want to know the actual reason from them.

In all honesty, probably what Mr Cheesy said. For example, the Scorpion model is the Reach Scorpion model with the MG Turret removed; literally just removed, there is a round hole on the model where it should be.
obviously you have not played CEA.
the sniper looks more thin and a little different and the shotgun is also not 100% the same.
I just finished 343 guilty spark.
Like people said above, to save time. The game isn’t a major project, it’s had a short development time and had to be released by a certain date that could not be changed. They recycled models where possible and only changed them if it looked horrendously out of place, a good example is how the Master Chief was originally going to where the Reach Mark V but they changed it because it didn’t look right, same as the Assault Rifle.
.
How about, why NOT use the Reach models? They look far better than the originals and the other versions.
After raging to myself incessantly about it, they don’t look too different from the originals when you compare models, it’s the same thing really with moar polygons.
So that they’re not so AUG looking. Ya know, the assault rifle that fits in your purse wink wink
