Why did they take this away from Halo?....

Is it just me or does anyone else miss the Fire Bomb Grenade!!.. why is this not in Multiplayer?!..its a great grenade with great effects!.. I would love to see this in Halo 4!

Ehh, I think I remember hearing there was something about lagging issues or performance problems when fire grenades were regularly used.

I doubt it, brute weapons are done, the only brute weapon that we will probably see make a return is the gravity hammer. The Incindary grenade looked cool, but it wasn’t very balanced, that was why it was removed.

No… Fire is HOT…

If they can make it so the frame rate doesn’t go to hell then yes bring back the FIRE!

Because believe it or not, Reach was meant to 1) sabotage Halo 2) put H3 out of existence.

H3 was more closer to CE. A few CE esque weapons (and they don’t even feel like CE weapons) don’t make a Halo game. It’s the surviving features. H3 had:

-areas that repeatedly give you checkpoints
-cutscene manipulation, ai battles in cutscenes
-Hunter killing checkpoint
-megabattle
-AI armies
-battles could be played in reverse or played differently
-a Grunt in opening cutscene, special dialogue Grunt

Reach was a downgrade, placing emphasis on graphics, killing immersion (draw distance, including Noble Team into every mission, predictable AI behavior). The only good that came from it (bigger fov, AI numbers) is mostly subdued by it’s problems (i.e. poor execution, massive cutscene teases, spreading out of AI/territorial behavior, lack of replayability thanks to Noble Team and unfixed checkpoint system).

Put in custom games. It was totally awesome. There was game called burn the witch where humans had to kill zombies with fire grenades. It rocked!
