i already have my replacement order in, but why did the most expensive edition not come with a option for a physical disk? In sure people like me exist where I’d rather have a disc over a code any day of the week (you can share your game with friends and the case is actually useful and why ship with a nice case if we are not going to use it?)
Because a disc=more money Microsoft has to shell out.
So a download copy is the cheapest way for them they can just share 1 copy to billions of gamers
Downloadable copies are easier as well, no worries about scratches or overheating problems… I was happy with that.
It was probably a casualty of it being sent what less than a week after it turning gold probably couldnt produce enough of the hard copies in time

Yeah that’s true, the only downfall is that if you lose your account you lose your game, but that only happens in very rare extreme cases (Lol happened to my brother)
With a digital code they can sell it early and allow for players to have the game pre-installed for when the game releases they can just boot it up. Instead of the players getting home from a midnight release to just sit there and install a 50GB game.
