I remember first seeing this and thing “wtf”. Why did New Mombasa look like that or was suppose to look like that? Why is a large portion of the city stretching into the sky, what was bungie getting at with this design?

It’s the future, am pretty sure they could be able to do it.
Of course the human over population in Earth, led to other ways of fitting more people, buying space in the air now days actually ‘‘cost’’ money.(apartments)
