Second time I have posted on these forums. This is the second game that is messed up. MCC was terriible. I gave them two months to fix it. I bought an xbox 1 with MCC and ended up returning it. Terrible customer experience. I am just starting to play halo 5. I am a long time Halo fan but I also have a life and a serious job. The one day out of the week last week I was off the servers where down. I am off tomorrow and guess what! Servers are down. What is going on? What kind of professionals let this happen? It’s embarrassing, and s terrible experience. This is the second time this has happened. No one answers to their mistakes?

Theater - why cant I invite my buddy into theater and us watch a game together? Halo 3 did it. I thought the future was here?

Things happen, get used to it. So what if the servers are down? An hour or two and they’re up again. Learn to use patience. It’s not that hard. MCC was 4 games, six game engines, and a whole lot of translated code. Not exactly a walk in the park to move two different sets of code, for two different older consoles, to one console, that has a completely different way of interpreting code. Everyone makes mistakes. Don’t act like Bungie was perfect, hell, you could say that they’ve been bad this whole time, and over-compensating for it.
343 has given exactly what they said they would. Just because you don’t like doesn’t mean you can -Yoink- and whine about it all the GD time on these forums. Hell, two people that I played against in a Doubles match had more decency than the guy I was paired with, who rage quit because they were better than him. Give them time. If you want them to fix it, let them, don’t rush them. Nothing can be perfect. NOTHING.
I’ve spent way too much money on this game. If my girlfriend found out I’d be screwed. But let’s be real. The LCE was a Joke. The lack of content provided in the final game is really sad. I would love to see some UNSC Air Vehicles. Long Lasting social playlists. Anyways, not to rant. But I get where you’re coming from. The game needs to get more content. A lot more, soon. Warzone can be fun for only so long.
What I’d like to see when the servers go down like this is the first thing you see when you log onto waypoint is a message from 343 that there is an issue that they are fixing with an explanation if there is a reason behind it and an eta on uptime. When the power goes out you can call them up straight away and they tell you the problem, why it happened and about when it will be fixed.

Sounds like a lot of excuses to me. Do you work for Bungie?
there have been server issues for the last week. But overall since Launch day Matchmaking is the best I have ever had in any halo game. I suspect that hackers have tried their best to bring down the gaming networks over the last week or so like last year.
They got Cyber attacked last week, that’s why they were down. Now as for today… Could be happening again. Anything that wants you to buy things will always get attacked.

So what the servers froze for 1 day? They have been perfect and extremely fast every other day. Fastest out of any Halo I’ve played actually. And theatre multiplayer was a technical limitation that was removed in reach don’t blame 343. It was either multiple players or not being able to rewind. But do you really -Yoinking!- need to watch clips with your friends in the same lobby? And like the other guy said you try coding 5 games to work in unison on a console that uses different code. Or on another note running and maintaining servers for hundreds of thousands of people with only a handful of guys.
