You people don’t deserve this honor. Microsoft is at fault as much as 343 is, they allowed it to happen. I find it funny that we got banned for this, but it’s perfectly ok for people to team betray, and boot to ruin someone else’s game. They didn’t fix Yoink!, they just added to it.

You are right. I do need to calm down. I wouldn’t work overtime if I wasn’t going to get paid. This is the byproduct of “he’s getting higher than me, ban him”, " he doesn’t play the way I play, therefor he’s wrong, ban him". Who the hell was I hurting? Their logic fails. I also just read the weekly bulletin that just came out today. No where does it say they were banning anyone for doing custom challenges. Once again, no comment. As a paying customer, I’m entitled to an explanation. Come on BS Angel, I know you’re out there.
> > What I don’t get is there’s a bunch of people who actually DID bypass the cR cap and are at inheritor already (only took them about a week) and they’re not credit banned (not that it matters but its ridiculous still)

You payed for the game, and for xbox LIVE. You did not pay for Reach’s online service, and they can ban you at any time, or change any aspect of said service (like MM updates). To quote a certain company, ‘Play nice, you have no rights’.
That said, it would be nice for them to keep a list or post with what will actually get you banned, since they appear to be changing it from the list Bungie used to use.

The Bulletin came out on Wednesday, not today, the bans were only pushed out last night.

There was never an official announcement regarding any changes in TOS, no update either. This was a classic “bait and switch”. If they want to ban people for this, fine, do it after an announcement telling people they are now banning for this. Once again nothing. Also, this is not Bungie anymore. I was also playing BY MYSELF, ok, so I wasnt hurting anyone. There is a big difference. I pay for Xbox live, and I payed for the game. Multiplayer is a different story, but campaign single player shouldn’t be policed. They messed up, not me… I’ll be happy to point out the mistakes they made. There is a few.
> I got one too. Great way to fix a broken game huh. I will not be playing this game anymore myself. This is the only game that pulls this crap and I’m tired of it. I think lawyers need to get involved as no warning, or word from 343 was given. Just like freakn Bungie, ban people for something they created instead if just fixing the issue. Over turn the bans 343, you have no right to police a game this much. I hurt no player, and I did indeed follow the terms of service. Keep it up and this game will be dead my March. I’m done.

This is not Bungie. Your quote is moot. If you have nothing pertinent to add, I will say good day to you sir.

You agree to play by the rules set by whoever is in charge of the game when you register onto xbox live.
If you get a ban due to an exploit abuse in the game, then the blame falls onto you and you only.

FRYKILL you crease me. What are lawyers going to do? Just play the game and stop moaning about credits. If you only play the game for credits then you are playing for the wrong reasons

Correct, that’s not an aimbot, it’s a glitch, has been around since Reach released in 2010, doubt it will ever get patched either.
> FRYKILL you crease me. What are lawyers going to do? Just play the game and stop moaning about credits. If you only play the game for credits then you are playing for the wrong reasons
The point I’m trying to make is that a list NEEDS to be made from an official source on what will get you banned. The game is based on credits, so, if not earning credits stops me from playing entirely, then I guess I am playing for the wrong reasons, just like many others. Halo is the only game that does this kind of stuff, and it’s getting very tiresome. There are a vast amount of other issues that needs to be fixed before I will play again. I stopped playing multiplayer because there are too many jerks. Campaign and firefight are the only game types that are better off than multiplayer right now. If they fixed the major problems, then I might just play for the right reasons again. I don’t know how else to explain it to you where you would actually understand where I’m coming from.

Credits buy armor for your spartan. If you want to play dress up go and buy yourself a doll from a toy shop. Armor doesnt make you a better player. Nobody cares what your spartan looks like. You can still play the game and not earn credits. You are credit banned not banned from matchmaking
> Thanks a lot 343. Great PR, banning my Xbox and gamer tag for something YOU created. You didn’t even say anything to the community about it as usual. I have enough rules in real life, I don’t need to have fantasy land policed too. This is not against any of the terms of service and I am going to contact a lawyer to look into this. What you are doing right now goes against anything that is considered normal business practices. I have rights too, so I suggest you withdraw the ban you put on my console and continue letting me play my SINGLE PLAYER GAME. FIX IT NOW before you get sued.
I can understand you’re angry, but LAWL!!! Lawyers? LOLOLOLOLOLOL Good luck with that.

You need to think on the other side of the coin. Insulting me is only going make the issue worse. Nothing I say is going to make you look through someone else’s eyes instead of your own. I am mad at 343, not you, I suggest you treat me with a little more respect.

Not only does it buy your barbie accessories, but ranks you up as well.Maybe people want to move forward and not just stay the same rank.
And what does rank mean in Halo Reach? How much time you have played the game. It doesn’t mean skill. This is another reason why the cr system is broken in reach. It should have been EXP from Halo 3
> And what does rank mean in Halo Reach? How much time you have played the game. It doesn’t mean skill. This is another reason why the cr system is broken in reach. It should have been EXP from Halo 3
Exactly. So my question for you is, how does my ranking up, and playtime, affect your game experience. If rank means time spent, and I’ve spent time playing, why get banned for playing? I’m being unjustly banned because of what, and how I play. You are correct, the credit system is broken in reach, but you can’t ban players for doing one thing over the other, especially if supposed credits don’t affect your game play.
What im saying is that you dont need credits to play this game.
You can still play but you wont be earning credits for 2 weeks. Work on your commendations and/or complete campaign SLASO and have some fun doing it. Or go play Halo 3 and rank up in that
