Just got credit banned. I’m pretty sure that I know why, but I’m wondering why I was banned for something that I’m supposed to be allowed to do?..
I was doing the Oni target locator glitch, which I was under the impression we were allowed to do, and using custom challenges to earn credits… I don’t understand why I was banned if it’s something you give us credit’s and the option for doing… I hit my cR cap ONE time (last night) using this method and I never used the little 3 hour glitch to get more than my limit. and I haven’t changed my time zone either… I’m pretty sure that everything I did was allowed… So why am I not allowed to earn credits?
I just want some answers. I would have never done custom challenges on oni if I knew this would happen. How can they ban for something they implemented?

Well it’s unlikely they thought it would actually allow users to bypass the cR cap.
Besides, why did they leave that topic unlocked for so long, still unlocked right now, letting people do the bug, if they will get cR banned for it, it makes me laugh in all honesty.
Can you really get banned for just using Custom Challenges alot? That’s all I can think of. I didn’t do anything bad. Only thing I can think of is last night I had a game where I went 0-2 because It was Haloball on action sack and the other team killed me thrwe the wall twice in a row, but other than that. Why…?
Thanks a lot 343. Great PR, banning my Xbox and gamer tag for something YOU created. You didn’t even say anything to the community about it as usual. I have enough rules in real life, I don’t need to have fantasy land policed too. This is not against any of the terms of service and I am going to contact a lawyer to look into this. What you are doing right now goes against anything that is considered normal business practices. I have rights too, so I suggest you withdraw the ban you put on my console and continue letting me play my SINGLE PLAYER GAME. FIX IT NOW before you get sued.

Bungie said that you can’t get banned for doing the ONI Target Locator exploit as long as you are playing while it happens.
It was a poor decision to ban everyone, patching it yesterday was fine by me, I wasn’t going to attempt it until after I finished playing Halo for the day.

They probably are but don’t care, if you are cR banned as an Inheritor, you are playing just like you are if you are not, cR as an Inheritor means nothing.
I got one too. Great way to fix a broken game huh. I will not be playing this game anymore myself. This is the only game that pulls this crap and I’m tired of it. I think lawyers need to get involved as no warning, or word from 343 was given. Just like freakn Bungie, ban people for something they created instead if just fixing the issue. Over turn the bans 343, you have no right to police a game this much. I hurt no player, and I did indeed follow the terms of service. Keep it up and this game will be dead my March. I’m done.

Yeah, it was a stupid decision, they could have at least warned us to stop using it before banning us for 2 freaking weeks.
All I want to know is if they are going to ban people who hit the cap daily with it since they patched this mainly yesterday, if they do, more poor decisions.

You need to calm down a bit, it’s a temporary cR ban, if you actually enjoy playing the game, go play it without cR, if you don’t, just stop complaining and leave it.
