> Once again, read my posts. All of them. Since page 3. They all talk about Bungie’s mass reset over AFKing. The thing for me being that I was reset about 30 minutes before it was officially against the rules. I know that time frame because after I got reset, I went straight to Bnet, and kept refreshing on the forums, and then about 30 minutes later, a flood of people who got reset were there, and then an official post was there saying the rules had changed on idling after I got reset. I never originally posted before all of that because knowing Bnet, I would get trolled so hard that Abraham Lincoln could feel it. Then, I decided “to hell with it, I’m pissed” and started posting on the Bnet official thread mentioned earlier, daily. About 130 pages later, Bungie never mentioned it again.
I see your posts now and I have one question, why would idling ever be ok? Even if the rules were not changed to not allow it, you thought it would be A-Ok to just let the games play out while you are not playing?
It’s common sense really not to do it, you may have a case but if you honestly don’t get your old rank back, don’t be shocked.

If you needed to be told that hopping into matchmaking and not playing (thereby making the player experience for everyone around less than ideal) was a bad thing then you’re missing the point. You admitted going AFK in this thread. My advice to you would be to accept it and move on.

Well, I thought it would be okay because in my eyes, it wasn’t really hurting anyone, and in one interview Bungie said something like “Oh, if you guys ever find a way to earn credits faster, we encourage you…” or something like that. And I’m pretty sure that that was getting me more credits than BTB which is what I played when I wasn’t idling. And it wasn’t modding, network tampering, etc.

Oh, I guess you thought I was talking about MM idling? I was talking about FF idling. I maintained a K/D of about 1 and a BP of like 45 back then. Not sure what it is now though.

I found myself mistaken after looking more in-depth at his stats, I personally try to clear it up fast if I am trying to helpout here, it’s something I do in my spare time when it’s raining outside or I am all Reached out for the day (pun intended).
As I said later on, the guy in fact by the looks of it just wasn’t good at the game and I apologized later on to him, if I didn’t do it in the topic, I at least think I did in a private message.

Not trying to interrupt but just live on with it, you have been told you don’t have a case.

Right, because getting reset for not breaking any rules is totally cool, and I don’t mind it. I have never been banned from anything in my life until the stupid ridiculous -Yoink-.

I guess second chances are pretty much unheard of, even though I didn’t violate or break any rules.

If you were a true Halo fan, you would accept it like I did.
I got reset from General Grade 4, made it to Brigadier Grade 1, got Console & Account banned from Reach, I bought a new console & made a new account just to play.
