I don’t get how people still get away with AFKing constantly in both FF and matchmaking. I just saw a guy get 1 kill in Anniversary Classic and sit there the whole match dying. I betrayed him a couple times for laughs and got booted, as well as quit banned again, so the guy was actually sitting there watching himself die for no reason. Why are people like this still allowed to play?

The ban hammer catches up with people who have one kill or fewer, trust me on that one, I would know

It’s not catching up with any of the people in firefight. I saw an Inheritor they other day that I ran into AFKing firefight on a daily basis for months. Why was this one not reset? Why is nothing being done about the immature -Yoinks!- that refuse to play firefight without spamming weapons at the other people trying to play? The game is rated M, but these kids are constantly allowed to ruin our experience. If we quit, we’ll just be getting quit banned. The game doesn’t respect the avoid list. I mean come on. I’ve put 132 DAYS of playtime on this and I still can’t enjoy firefight with a couple friends cause if there’s even ONE random they’ll be a little -Yoink- and blast anyone sniping off their perches, -Yoink!- in front of us, shoot our vehicles, etc. No consequences. No avoiding them. If the company cared about its customers, they’d see to it that we got to enjoy our gaming experience without being constantly griefed. Anyone know where to email Bungie? I’d like to thank them for leaving us with this joke of a game, as well.

Halo 2, 3, ODST, Reach and Halo Wars ALL use Peer to Peer systems, Halo games have NO Dedicated Servers and most likely never will, meaning the only reason to blame, is yourself.
Besides, your Service Tag is PSSY, you have a LARGE amount of games were you get ‘DNF’ which I see at Network Manipulation to get into a FF Arcade game solo to get more cR.

That’s an interesting question. If they’re too lazy to properly police their game or fix the problems, they should get volunteers that play all the time to start taking out the garbage.
I call BS, I never went AFK and I never have cheated. I didn’t even know or think of the idea of boosting until I googled it trying to figure possible reasons for my credit earning ban. The only thing I can think of is my brother’s friend who was playing with us simple sucked balls at playing and didn’t get any kills… I don’t remember this being against ToS. I would like my ban lifted.
Hey guys, I just posted a thread about this without realizing this one existed so I guess I’ll repost my question here. I was playing Halo tonight with some friends in the Anniversary Classic playlist when the three of us that were on on Xbox got credit banned. This is the first time any of us has been banned and none of us really know why.
My gamertag is obviously Pezcore343 and the other two were ChaoticPK and SuccubusCindy. We were also in an XBL party with N Scaler and FlamingGingerZX, although they were on separate Xboxes and were not credit banned.
We were just playing regularly in Anniversary Classic when the ban happened. None of us have ever resorted to credit boosting to my knowledge (I know for certain that I haven’t), so it’s just kind of aggravating to have to deal with what I assume is an automated banning system without so much as an explanation as to what we did “wrong”. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks all.

Who do I complain too I have been in touch with Microsoft but they said to come on here and log it, I live in a small village and play Halo Reach but due to the connection problems with the broadband here I keep getting booted from x box and I keep getting suspended from Halo Reach for quitting too many games, should they not be able to tell if you are quitting or if the signal is failing I thought we were in 2012 and this was microsoft the biggest computer company in the world and they cannot define the difference between going to quit game and broadband booting you out.
If anyone can help can they please reply to my message as I do not know where to report this and microsoft are not that clever as they put me on here and there is no contact us for me to complain.

I’ve just had a flick through you’re previous games and the only thing i can see wrong is ‘SuccubusCindy’ getting 0 kills and 0 assists in a bunch of games and only 1-3 in the others. It is possible the banhammer thought you were playing with an AFK player on ur xbox and banned all 3 of you. Thats all i can see if its a first time ban i think its only 24 hours so i guess u’ll just have to wait it out dude

This is why I asked, apparently the banhammer goes solely off kills. It’s clear she got some assists but 0 kills. Since you were playing on the sane console all GT on that console got banned, it sucks, but by the time its reversed it’ll be over.
i was just banned for guiteing a firerfight machmakeing game i never left 3 other players did and i stayed in the whole time y am i beeing banned for something i did not do

That’s fine, I have no problem waiting the 24-48 hours for the ban to end. My only question is what can I do in the future to avoid this happening? The reason my friend got so few kills is because she’s new to the game and not very good. Can I just not play online with her anymore for fear of being banned?

A very simple suggestion I thought of is to play some custom games with your friend to get them a little bit more used to the game and how to play it so that they can at least hold their own online when you come to it.
