People that get banned for killing AFK players are fullparty boosters in Grifball/Invasion. The use guest’s and kill them over and over. Going in to matchmaking and kill a randomly AFK player will not get you banned. However beeing AFK in a game will get the AFK’er cR banned.

Last week i was suspended for going over the cap limit(120k)
(IN FIREFIGHT)
The day i was unsuspended i started playing again and made another 110k in firefight
then at 1pm the next day i started playing and made 68k then got a notice that Im suspended AGAIN.I waited until the next day started why did i get suspended again???
(Everyday limit=120k) I got 68k why suspend me?
Is it that every 24 hours you can get 120k?
or is it every day starting at 12am you can get 120k?
Technically i waited until the next day after 12am.That counts as a new day so why suspend me 343/Bungie.
Please reply back ive been a fan since Marathon.

You are playing FF doubles with an AFK guest that gets 1-3 kills each game, are you doing this becaus of the lagg on the other FF modes?.
If you want to play 2x Score Attack then go play Score Attack where it’s just 1 player
I really want to know why and how long I have been banned from earning credits. There is a huge deficit is customer support for a game that we purchase. There are no emails anywhere, no phone numbers, and no guarantee that we will ever be contacted. We might as well line up for a gas chamber in a concentration camp.
All I have been able to find out that is that scumbag players are banned for AFKing or cheating, neither of which I have taken part in. If there is a moderator doing something, can I have some information on why AND how long I have been wrongfully banned from earning credits?

You have a AFK guest in all of your FF Doubles game, i suggest you go play Score Attack in the future. Score Attack is a 1 player game and 1st time ban is 24h long

Wrongfully? Really? I counted 5 games with a guest controller with0 kills in matchmaking firefight. Thats against the rules.
Thank you both for the explanation. I have a feeling I know who the culprit is and it wont go unpunished. Am I required to suffer the consequences for this offense? or am I allowed a warning for a first offense instead of a 24 hour ban?
Is there anyway to receive warnings if someone is using my xbox without my consent?, because it isn’t very feasible to carry it around with me while I am at work.

The 24 hr ban is basically your warning. The 2nd time is always more severe, ranging in to the 2 week timeframe.You can from my understanding stop your GT from signing in automatically and then put a password on it. However if there is another family member or friend with a GT on that xbox, if they get credit banned it bans the entire console.
Edit: I think there is also a way to put a password lock on the xbox itself, maybe through parental settings. or take the power supply box with you, its much smaller and the xbox is useless without it.

Thankyou guys. Hes taken it pretty good. If it was me, i would be reaising hell on this board,along with 5 other major websites, blasting the banhammer till i get an answer. And if it was an unjust one that wasnt promptly fixed and compensated for? Lets just say, ill be dusting off the ps3 and actually playing games on instead of using it as a bluray/living room netflix box and never touch anything of the halo franchise period. Hes helped a couple people with completing legendary, and the custom games were for fun showing he still had it. Ironically, i was playing with him that day in some of the games, went to sleep, while he stayed up and played, and found out he was banned the next day. I first met him, when i first got reach in Hockey. You should have seen him. He was Assassinating like a mad man. getting around ~40 per game.
I Would like to know can i get my banned reverse or AT LEAST know Why i’ve been banned. I never quit, i never cheated, i never speak with anyone except my friends and the rest on mute. So finally it has been 3 days of e-mail and nobody answering that question : Why ??? Am i the .01% banned for no reason just for fun!!? Can somebody answer me?

So wait, let me get this straight. You purposely did something you knew could get you banned? You had friends that were banned for the same thing, and yet you did it. And you think its unfair? Are you being serious? You deserved a ban, who deranks in a game that doesn’t use ranks to match people anyway? I don’t get it.
I tried turbo controller deranking for the first time ever, and the next day my BRAND NEW XBOX SLIM gets perm banned same as the account…Why is it that i receive no warning when everyone else gets a warning? My friend irl gave me the account since he doesnt play on it anymore and now my console is banned? I spent $240 on a new console barely 3 weeks ago and already it gets banned without a warning?..

The tag that caused the ban was “itz irefiex” im only asking for a reverse of the perm ban on the console and changing it to a 1 week ban since its a brand new xbox, not the account. i realise what i did was wrong which is why im not going to bother asking for the account being reversed but the console was a brand new one with nothing negative about it. i can promise it will never happen again.

I merely wanted to try it for one night, i have no hesitation that the account should be banned and i will never try deranking again since obviously its resulted badly… I only think its unfair since everyone else receives 1 week warnings twice before a console ban when i receive no warnings and straight to a console ban. On top of that, i barely did it over 20 hours when i could easily post links to other peoples gamer tags who continue to derank constantly ALMOST EVERY DAY since 2010 and they are still going about as we speak but when i try it once i get console banned. Thats what i find unfair.

The way 343i is running things makes no sense whatsoever. They slap people with perma bans without any warning while others freely trash games in both firefight and matchmaking. You spent money on the game. You deserve an explanation even if you were doing something dumb. Nobody deserves to be console banned without a single warning, either.
i know what i was doing was stupid aswell and i would agree if the account was banned + having a 1 week console ban but its just so unfair with a perm ban :l

What explanation is needed? He knows what he did to get himself banned. And he was using a friends old GT. For all anyone knows that account was banned before, with a warning. And this is a 2nd ban. Bottom line is he did something that got him banned. The banhammer is something inherited by 343. Imbedded in matchmaking. It would cost to much to rewrite all the coding. I’m sure halo4 will have a better system.

You got banned for being AFK in FF Doubles. You aren’t allowed to have a guest controller logged on and get 0 kills. You can do the score attack playlist, it’s single player.
