nope not always. my second credit ban was for a week but it can be anything between 1 day and 2 weeks
mushi mushi… ok all i want to no is how long will i be cR ban i afk once bc i was in a party and they did matchmaking and i got credit ban for a day that was no prob i didnt mind but then the day after that i did firefight dbl but i wanted to do it by my self so i had my guess signed in for like 6 games then i stopped then in the middle of a matchmake game a window popped up and said i was banned again i didnt no what for till i just read this i didnt no i could get banned for a afk guest now my question is how long will i be banned its been almost a week and im kinda close to ranking up but iv gotten on every day at 12 bc thats when the message popped up to see if it was lifted but it hasnt

Nobody can tell you for sure, it can last for up to 2 weeks, its a 2nd offense, and it was for 6 games that all gets taken into consideration. You just have to wait it out. Keep checking.

The other day, a “friend” on my friends list and his friend were on Mutli-Team we got put into Rocket Hog Race. And at one point they got pissed at Green Team, and decided hey lets just for kills. Despite me practically yelling at them to play the game properly they refused to go for the hill. Instead they went after green constantly. When I finally got put into the drivers part I got chewed out because I actually went after the hill.
My question here is…Who is in the right and who should be banned? I believe they should be since they Improperly Played the game.
Just wanting some feedback that’s all.

Honestly? No one. Not going for the objective isn’t bannable since they’re still playing.

You’re ‘brother’… Hmm… pardon me from being suspicious.
No matter who’s on your account, you will get banned for these offenses. it makes no difference who you are, and as I suspect above, the brother thing may be a cover-up for you to get out of a perfectly justifiable ban. Not accusing, just saying.
And don’t let your brother play any more…? And how did you find out? Did he just tell you…?

The account that was banned was achafor4 for signing in a guest controller for being idle. When an account is banned for any offense the console is banned to keep a player from signing in another account continuing the behavior.
About two or three weeks ago my Halo Reach stopped working. My armor is set to the default armor and it says I’m recruit. But when I press start and go to the armory my armor is my custom armor and my rank is back to normal (commander grade 1). I cant go on matchmaking either. this is what i posted as a thread it hasn’t been working for 2 months. I dont know if its a ban because i didn’t get a pop up message that everyone says happens when u get banned. i have called xbox support 5 times on the issue and I’ve tried everything. please help.

Yeah I was banned for playing against guest players… and I’m just wondering how long the ban time is because it doesn’t say when i sign into Halo reach
Last night my friends and I were playing Halo Reach. There were 6 of us (on 2 Xboxes) and 3 were guest users. 1 had never played Halo before. We played for a couple of hours and lost most of our matches because of the inexperienced players. No big deal. However, toward the end of the night myself and another gamer on my box were suddenly prompted with a warning, “This account has been temporarily banned from earning credits”. We then received 2 additional popup messages (each) saying the same thing when we returned to the post-game stats screen.
The best thing I can determine, after reading some forums, is that this was due to one of my guests playing so poorly. (She usually finished games with a 0 or even -1 score.) But we did NOTHING to deserve a ban. In fact, she was on my team during all but 1 match.
I think it’s noble that your’e trying to detect players who are cheating or farming credits through exploiting defects, but this is unfortunate. I am a paying customer who was using the game as intended and I’m unhappy about being penalized without cause.
I’ll be very appreciative if you are able to offer any assistance.
I keep getting pop ups about temp credit bans. Hoping someone can explain why. Two players. Same cosole. Two real, live bodies. Two xbox live accounts: CrazyBubbie and Dragflys4. Both of us suck. Die alot. Don’t get many kills. But we go down fighting. 
i am guessing that we’ve managed to do something stupid, but I would appeciate knowing what it is. Can someone help me with that?
Also, is there a link to an officiallist of bannable offenses? I am happy to educate myself, but want some clear info.

I got banned and im pretty sure it was for no reason. I wasnt credit boosting, or AFKing, or anything like that. The only thing I can think of is that a guy was hitting on my wife so I sent him like 20 invites to a custom game to troll him (mature, i know). If thats the issue, then fine. its not that big a deal. I just didnt think that was something i would get credit banned for.

Well looking through your games, There was more than one game that both your guest controllers were on other teams. The one guest BCCA would have been fine considering they had 1 or more kills all the games. However, the 2nd controller is what did the AFKing. 1 game had 1 kill, another had 2, the rest were -1 or 0. Of these games, 2 had the guests on different teams, and at least 2 games were slayer pro, no teams, and it appears you killed that guest some. If it is a mistake and that guest was playing, I cannot see anything to suggest that. Even the very worst players that kills stolen, will get an assist, that guest had none, ever.

I checked your history, yours is good, your wife actually plays better when your on a team together. However, there are 6 games, from 2:13 to 3:37 pm, that your wife had a guest account signed in that either had 0 kills, or -1 kill. Thats probably an AFK ban, if it hasnt happened before it should be a 24 hour ban. And it is normally an entire console, that way a 2nd account can’t be made to circumvent the ban.
OHHHHH. i know what it was now. She had her sister signed in, who had never played before. thats why she was getting crappy numbers. oh well i guess. is there any way for her to get better without us getting banned?

Alot of people say to do custom games, 343 banning doesn’t happen in customs, or play a console firefight match to get her better at targeting enemies and all that. My daughter plays Halo with me sometimes, I actually made a training level in forge to help her aim with the weapons, throw grenades at targets and such. It helped, at 8 yrs old, she normally gets between 2 and 5 kills a game, its not great, but its a start.

I was looking at yours and the dragonfly account, I couldn’t see anything off the top that looked weird, aside from some random games that got 0 kills and 0 assists. Which is hard to do, however they are spread out from days and days. The only thing I can see, and I ask anyone else on the board to double check the likely hood of, Is that your GT has over 1100 campaign kills, but 9 medals? No double kills? not sniper shots to the head? No headshots? it just seems extremely odd. And it shows one game of firefight, but when I click on the game it shows nothing. So it could either be a glitch(i don’t think it is) or someone on the console reset their medals to get the extra credits from them. Which unless your rank was already reset doesn’t make much sense as a Sgt. Grade 2.
Could someone else double check this?
