Hi. I recently got a credit ban and a quit too many game warning. Now I know why I got these and I am not here to debate that. I believe it was because I was afking while having some lag out issues. I just want to know how long for.
This is the 2nd time I have got the credit ban. First time was for 1 day, how long is this one?
As far as the quit thing i have never got that before. If I complete alot of games will that warning eventually go away and stop appearing everytime I log on? How many games i got to complete?

I am new to xbox and im trying to figure out why i got banned. i coudl honestly careless if and when the ban is lifted, but i would like to know why so i dont do it again? I was playing through matchmaking and during the game the msgs popped up. is there anywhere i can go to see why i was banned?

The ban lasts from 1 day up to 2 weeks. And the quit ban probation lasts 3 days if i am not wrong. You shouldn’t quit for 3 days and it will go…

Your ban is probably due to AFKing. AFKing is when you are in the game but you are idle, aka your player does not move. This is bannable in Halo: Reach.
I had lag out issues more so than game quits. I black screen and lag out or suddenly everyone but me is out the game because my network went dead and disconnected me from live. The warning did disappear this morning though credit ban still seems on. is there a list somewhere of like
1 infraction = 1 day
2 infraction = ??
3 infraction = ??
etc
x infraction = 2 weeks

You must be mistaken! There is no way you can get a cR ban for quiting. If you quit to many times you get a temporary ban and you can’t join matchmaking. So if you have a cR ban you probably AFKed and your ban is from 1 day up to 2 weeks!
Yesterday I played some firefight doubles and then team slayer with some friends while in an xbox live party with them. After one such slayer game I received a notification that I was temporarily banned from earning credits. While I am not a great player at PvP shooter game types and didn’t get many kills, I didn’t use profanity towards anyone or commit any other violations to deserve this. Granted I had to go afk in a couple games but when a pet eats too fast and pukes on your carpet I think that’s a good reason to do so and it wasn’t too long(the quicker you get it out of the carpet the better, trust me) I know the ban may not get lifted from this but I would like to know why this ban happened and how long it is going to be as I had good reasons for leaving the few games I did yesterday. Please reply and if it is at all possible to cancel the ban, even better. Thanks.
I have a two year old son and a 1 month old son, I have been getting up and leaving my game running since Reach released and yet I have never been credit banned.

I think you have misunderstood what I was refering to. check my previous posts I had lag out issues and while I was fixing them I was also AFK in some games
I got a warning and a ban for each individually though when you look at the one post you quote I can see where you may have thought I was refering to only one thing.

Why am I always banned from earning credits or warned for quitting matches? The past two weeks have been really annoying. After reaching the credit limit I started quitting matches out of spite of the added BAN on earning credits. today when I logged in to play my first game I was banned for quitting too many games after my first game disconnected itself.
Oh yeah and this sucks donkey puddles.
So in the future I can expect this to continue. Once a day opens up for play, I play until I reach a credit limit (few hours) and then it says I’m banned from making credits for the next 24 hours on my account. Then I quit unfair matches because finishing doesn’t yield credits anymore, and bungie warns me on every login that I quit too much. So I struggle to get online to earn an honest credit. It just gets more annoying. For whatever reason they decide to use on me I consider my account to be banned for no good reason.
i get a few hours of fair play every other day and they want me to also never quit or get disconnected? i’m sorry but that is just impossible.
My girlfriend and I were playing halo last night and she played several games were she got 0 kills and now I am banned from credit earning. Is there any way to fix this ban? I don’t think it’s fair that just because she’s learning she can’t play.
That same thing happened to my brother’s account. We activated the gold membership from the Halo CEA box. His account was active on the 2-day membership for an hour, he wasn’t haven’t fun playing against a team of reclaimers so he and I stopped playing. When we came back the account and console were banned. My account had already reached the credit limit for that day, and on the following day fell victim to the console credit ban.
After that, every other day has been banned or just full of warnings.

Looks like AFKing, some people are better at the checks, harder for me to see on the CTF games, but it kinda seems like both controllers were AFKed in the last 3 games on the 14th

Hello friends of 343 i would like to know if i could resolve my situation doesn’t have a week that i bought the maps anniversary when she showed me on my screen that my account had been used on another console and that would be funded data started in the console previously used and to participate in a game and try to start another and i jammed the game and when you try again to connect my appeared a notice telling me that my account and my console had been ban permanently aswell online

Contact a site administrator. I am pretty sure they will tell you why you were banned.bs angel , Total Sellout .

Your account has been recovered on another uknown console? If this is true, then you have to contact Microsoft first to resolve the issue and then come back in these forums to resolve your ban issue.

If he did challenge resseting a lot probably you will get your rank reset but it is not permanent! The same is for the cR ban. If you get/have got cR banned it will last 2 weeks!
