i have only been playing for two weeks and have really no idea what im doing. or why i was banned
. any ideas?
Bugnie/HWP and Xbox Should not banned any innocent players for quitting middle of a game on Halo Reach. Seems Bungie/HWP and xbox allow a cheater taking advantages and gain more CR points and promotes from killing innocent players who play honest. Seems Bugnie and Xbox never realized how the honest players got upset and they’re already fed up with those cheaters. NO fun and not a good time to standing and letting them kill us because we can’t quit middle of game or we will get ban. I got warning about quit a game and I feel threaten. Doesn’t sound fair to all of us.
I want to quit whatever I want because I’m not happy play with those cheaters even though I paid $145. worth package of Halo reach and paid $100 dollars for family live. So where is our respect? We feel so tolerates, bores, and wastes by a cheaters. I don’t think this play fair. Friends and I wonder why should we wasting our money on a xbox games and live. We noticed perfection head shot, seems they’re using aim bot. When I was tried shooting the player and they didn’t die but how come they shooting me and I died quick. I threw a bombs at them twice then shooting at them where they hid at the area where small room but then they ran out and shooting at me then pummed me. I was wondering what going on bombs damage seems doesn’t work on them. I played other game, I threw bombs at a player, it work, got them killed. Also I killed other player by shooting them as well.

The same time is for your issue. And by the way…i don’t find it simple when i play and get rapped because of 1-2 idle players…
i have bad internet access where i live. It keeps blimping in and out. some days are worse than others. some days it never happens, some it every 10-15 mins. xbox live apparently thinks im quitting games on purpose. I have been banned from earning credits and from playing live. i just bought my xbox 2 weeks ago. so far not to impressed with the customer support or help. would never recommend this to anyone! xbox 360 will be returned for a full refund. playstation here i come!!!
today i was using 3 guests so i could complete the weekly and daily challenges only to get banned from earning credit. i was supposed to earned nearly 40000+, weekly was worth 32343 credit and “kill 40 enemies with a automatic weapon” worth 3000 and the coventent-cide worth 3000-/+. only earned 0. i am so unhappy right now. when will the ban be lifted.

Even the game stats say I got less points and kills than I actually got, regardless as to whether I have the video of the game saved in my fileshare that shows otherwise.
This system is seriously flawed when it comes to situations like this. How and I supposed to earn credits and commendations in co-op firefight or campaign when the game simply will not allow me. I lag out almost every game I play, but find this strange that this doesnt happen in ANY matchmaking playlists. And I know for damn sure its not my connection because (as I stated in a previous post on this forum) I have done all possible checks, including contacting my ISP, and there are no problems.
Pardon my language, but in my opinion the system used to stop boosters and quitters is complete -Yoink-, when regular gamers cant even get lagged out (something thats beyond a persons control) without being punished for it. Its no wonder the HALO franchise is slowly dying with ridiculous systems like this.

Well let me explain you something! Actually, when you lag out in either Firefight or Co-Op Campaign, the game will not end. It will let you continue your game until the end of it. But, even if you finish the game, actually it counts as a quit the very moment you lag out. In addition, bungie.net will keep the stat’s until the moment you lag out, and that’s why you have less kills online than what you finally got. Finally, you may not lag out from Multiplayer but in Firefight or Campaign it’s easier to lag out because the game engine has to control not only yours and your partner’s moves but also lots of Covenant stuff. That’s a simple explanation of why you lag more in these kind of playlists…This system may be -Yoink!- and ridiculous as you say, but it is -Yoink!- and ridiculous as well when 2 of 4 quit and i stay with millions of elites with snipers & rocket launchers…
I want to talk to a freaking 343 employee please. This is the fifth day in a row that my commendations have frozen for MM and FF but not Campaign when I hit the 120,000cr limit. This is an error and it needs to be fixed. I’m an inheritor so I hit the cr limit in about 15 games. I want to achieve 100% comm. completion but I’ll be playing this for the rest of my life if something is not done. Surely I am not the only one having this issue. Am I? Someone hit the cr limit of 120000cr and post reply to this post telling me if your commendations freeze.

So, I have a question. I enjoy playing FF Limited, but when ever I play with someone else, the game lags. So I usually play Score Attack. Problem is, FF Limited isn’t in the Score Attack playlist.
So I found a way to play FF Limited by myself. By going into the Firefight Doubles playlist with just me and a guest, and choosing FF Limited, I can then sign out the guest and play by myself. So, I was just wondering if this is some sort of offense? Can I be banned for this?
Please note I’m not “boosting”, as I am getting all my cR and kills legitimately, as well as not ruining anyone else’s game in any way.

The only punishment i see is a quit 10 minute ban. But i am not sure if signing out counts as quit. So you could feel free to try it…
Signing out in game or once it loads is a quit. And taking an ark guest in doubles WILL get you banned. Which I don’t agree with, if you wanna play doubles alone it doesn’t ruin anything for anyone. and its near impossible to get some of the challenges playing with randoms. So my advice is to find a friend, or a sibling and let them play with you and you get a majority of the kills.
On a side note, just to make a point about peoples sisters, brothers, girlfriends, aunts or uncles that play as a guest and are “terrible”. I let my 8 yr old daughter play mm with me my dad and my brother last night, she had one or more kills in 3 games. So even bad players can get a luck kill.
hi i have been trying to contact someone know from this website for 4hours.i really am dissapointed in whats just happend to me in halo3 odst multiplayer disc.was playing team doubles with my friend and he got host booted and i was in game while he was black screen and then it removes me from the game saying u are permanatly banned from halo3 matchmaking on this acount and 3mon console ban i love this game and i have been playing halo3 for 5years man.i went pro at the game at one point spent alot of time and my money on that account on mappacks etc etc memorys thearte cids and iam banned and i really do not like this i really need help to try get this problem resolved its very upsetting to me and has frustrated me a hell of alot can you help me plz.because if i did somthing wrong i wouldent have a problem with been banned from halo 3 but i havent and put many years of effort into this account! please get back to me iam not happy at all about this!.

You can contact an administrator and ask for the reason you were banned. bs angel , Total Selout

A temporary ban from earning cR, most of the time occurs due to AFKing. It lasts from 1 day up to 2 weeks depending on how many times you have been banned before. If it’s the first time then it should be over soon!
I think I may be mute banned, along with my good buddy DoG Suicide0. This may not be the correct thread for this, but if someone can shed some light, that would be great. There is absolutely no reason why either of us should be mute banned, we are both leaders in a mature gaming community (disciplesofgaming.com). We do not trash talk, tea-bag, or discriminate at all. Actually, PM an admin from this site, I’m pretty sure they’ll know if theyre an employee, and I’m also sure that can get them a permanent ban for impersinating a 343 employee. And if you want to take it further, 343 is run by Microsoft, so that’s also impersinating one of they’re employees may get a xbox live ban
