that’s more than i or any of my friends ever quit games. i might quit 3-5 games in a month, not one night.

I’m so frustrated with this. I posted last night, but then deleted it. I don’t normally post here, but I want to say something. I’m still frustrated and; of course, credit banned. It doesn’t really say anywhere what is “naughty”. Some things are obvious like team killing and quitting. I don’t do those things. I had no idea that to try a work around to very weak firefight matchmaking system would get me credit banned. I just wanted to choose what map to more easily complete a challenge, 10 vehicle kills. It’s a dumb challenge, just like getting x amount of kills on a specific map, because you can’t choose what map. You are left at the mercy of the vote of other people. That is just not very fun. So, I logged my son in so I could play doubles and choose what map I want. He was at school, so his controller just sits. I didn’t do it for credits, but to try to complete a poorly made up challenge. I also had no idea that someone decided without telling me that it was “naughty” and that I would be treated like a bad person. I didn’t even get the courtesy of a message to tell me why I was banned or for how long. I’m sure you clever programmers could do that much, if you are willing to go so far to punish me. I have been an xbox and xbox 360 owner from the beginning. I have purchased every Halo including Anniversary and Reach twice. I have been a big fan. If you are frustrating me, then you are frustrating others, your fans, your customers. This is not only rude but bad business. I hope you fix something here, cause this isn’t fun right now.
Can anybody tell me if I can get banned for lagging out of firefight games. When I play firefight arcade, not all the time, but most of the time the game lags and I end up on my own. This also happens in co-op campaign.
I find this strange as it doesnt happen in matchmaking playlists, only co-op firefight and campaign. I admit I sometimes quit out of matchmaing games to join other friends, but not firefight as most of my commendations are in this. This constant lagging is also making it hard to get my assist commendation to onyx.
I have done all necessary checks to my internet connection (checked cables, tested connection speeds, phoned ISP etc.) and all are in perfect working order. I just want to know if I can get banned for lagging out of firefight as I am almost a legit Inheritor and I don’t want to be permanently banned/reset for something that is out of my control.

Last Friday night me and my sister-in-law were playing Reach. We got into a deep conversation and left our players in the party we were in for a few games. We didn’t mean to but it just happened. I just figured the party leader would boot us from the party and out of the Reach game for a bit.
Well, I came back to find myself banned “temporarily”. I’m still banned after 5 days and this is just ridiculous. I mean, honestly. I’m 42 years old and don’t need to be treated like a child over an accident.
What’s worse is that I don’t receive ANY kind of communication telling me what I did or for how long the ban will be. So, I log in every day and still see a ban. How frustrating is that? This is just handled all wrong and it ticks me off. I don’t need this game that much, so I’ve moved on to other games that don’t do this. I’m not a child and I don’t need to be “disciplined” by a company that I PAID to play this game AND PAID to be on xbox live. This is ludicrous and I don’t even know why all you guys let this happen and let them get away with this.
I rarely EVER quit a game… even when it hurts. I’m always aware of the rules and the community. You guys can check my profile on Bungie “nixter22”.
Open call to Bungie/343… I’m going to ban YOU from my wallet for while! I’ve spent over 4 thousand dollars on xbox for family and friends over the last year. I bought both my step sons slim 250 consoles and games, I’ve bought a friend a new slim 250 and often I buy games or points for my close friends that don’t have the resources I do.
This is stupid, I mean honestly. But I’ve said my peace and now I’m moving on.

Banned Banned and Banned again. 10 minutes each time. Why you ask? I admit, I quit games! But more to the point of WHY I quit is; Time and time again, game after game we end up at a “black screen” not because someone is leaving the game, but rather a “Server Glitch” on behalf of XBOX.
It seems more and more we get the notorious “black screen” each and every game. We wait, and wait and finally, yep, quit and start another game.
Last night it took 22 minutes to finish a game. 2 people quit causing “black screen” then 4 more “black screens” when NO ONE quit. It took another 48 seconds at the end of the match to show the stats of the game.
At the beginning of some matches, we can’t vote! I say we, because a buddy and I usually party up to play Halo Reach together in the evenings. He’s in another state on a separate XBOX.
My question is, what is causing all these problems? Unable to vote on the game, black screens lasting 30-60 seconds, lags, load failures, and having to wait and wait for final stats of the game?
I have high speed cable internet access and I am hard wired in. NO Wireless. No other devices in use when playing Reach.
I think this Topic should be under matchmaking too would be alot better for those who go straight to matchmaking forum when they get a ban.

My question though is why create a system like that I find that to be ludicrous. Cause Ive encountered games where Ive played againts probably pro players or something that I myself a damn good Halo player will go 5 kills and 30 deaths thanks to the sniper, banshee, gunner, etc. pro guy. They really need to fix the Ban Hammer and Probation System. Along with the betrayal system, (In ex. me sticking an enemy just for a team mate to decide to run up and attempt to assassinate same stickeed to be met by death to then boot me for their own mistake. And accidents which was out of anyone’s control. Where I had destroyed the enemy banshee as he attempted to continue to terrorize our base. For then an ally to sadly get hit by debris from said banshee that was destroyed.) These are things that happened to me that caused a recent ban along with my Anniversary maps not loading properly no matter how many times I delete and redownload and on different internet networks. Also with the fact that the probation stuck around for 5 days till it finally left even though before the ban and after it was still there and I didnt do anything to allow it to stick around.
Thats right 343 a person ME that is apart of the .1% that was TRUELY UNJUSTLY banned. Thanks to the mindless monster of a creation you guys will not FIX. Ill give you videos of the matches Ive been booted from as proof of what Ive said above. Ill even give you future proof of games that me and friends have been lagged out of (Which is like onceor thrice a week give or take.) And content that I bought no matter where I download from my internet a friends internet(even transfered his maps over) wont load properly. Went into your Anniversary playlists just to be kicked out do to maps failing to load(which your system should recording to as a problem that shouldnt count against the player).
Im a guy of few words but for the first time in 7 years Ive found my self making the longests posts Ive ever seen. 7 years of Halo online gaming to be hit by this brick wall of a problem that I see you guys fail to adress but rather make this topic for those who even realise you have this on here to deal with those few and blow off the ones who really believe you guys have a problem on your hands. I found my thread closed today after not being on for a day here To 343 and Who It May Concern Its sad that my problems wherent 100% adressed for my lips to be closed, to brush this matter under the rug. Ive still yet havent been adressed here Anniversary MAP DLF & Betrayal Fix.
Love how your treating your new handed over fans 343 try to help fix things for once instead of trying to line your own pockets. Adress what you have now before you start worrying about a future that hasnt arrived yet. Atleast give us the damn curtosy to call it rain while you piss on us.

I have had my account temporarly banned and I not sure why thats the case, I dont beileve I have done anything wrong and if I have somewhere a chance to explain myself would be nice. I love playin halo, quite a lot infact I wanted the internet to play my reach online… why would I do that just to cheat and get caught? I dont mind if you want to take some credits from me thats fine but dont banned me I have never even been forced out the game for 10 mins… like ever.
i’ve got a temp credit ban for about 4 days it is still not over i keep getting message you are being temporary banned normally i should be banned 24 hours right is there a problem in the system or something?
