My account (as well as my console) has been banned from earning credits since at least Thursday, and I’m not sure why. Going through my game history, I only see one game where my guest might have been away from his controller, and that was only because he was making food. Otherwise, I know we were playing as best as we could, so I really don’t know where this ban came from. Is there any way I can have this ban lifted, or at least know how long the ban will last?
I was reset a few months ago by Bungie, and unfortunately they never reset my “accolades”. I can’t think of what they’re called specifically but they directly influence how many cR you get in the game. Anyway. I know 343 is in charge now and I was wondering if they could reinstate what I had lost or just reset my “accolades” for me.
I’m being silent on the reason why I was reset because I know all I’m going to hear is, " Adapt or Die" or “Oh well.” I actually have proof of why my Reset was wrong and I’m willing to share my story if only someone would be willing to listen.
I have always been a devout follower of this franchise and I would love to love it again. I’m hoping 343 won’t be the unreasonable juggernaut that Bungie was.
So if anyway know a high up moderator that I could PM or E-Mail or if there’s a better way to go about this, let me know too. Thanks a lot guys.

i got banned because my mom went into cardiac arrest and died and i left my xbox on when my friend left me in his party and he played all of 5 games wow really hope all the other players feel that it was fair

I was wondering how many times can you get credit banned until it’s permanent? I’ve been temporarily banned twice. The first ban was for a day, the second one I’ve had for about a week, how long does this second one last? Then is the third ban permanent? Does it reset my rank down to Recruit?

So I received a ban this evening, and I think I know why. My little brother was complaining he wanted to play too so I signed a guest on but when I did he didn’t really do anything I think it was on for 3 maybe 4 games something like that so there were a few zero kill games for him. I’d just like to know if the ban is going to be forever now and I just screwed myself over by making him stop crying or if it really is just temporary? I’d really like to discuss this matter with someone if somebody could please contact me it would be greatly appreciated.

My daughter wanted to try a new game last weekend and has been venturing into the brilliant world that is halo (she’s 11, not very good at it, but loves the game). we wake this morning, she has a game, 0 credits. banned.
Now I know about the afk ban but surely you cannot be banned for being crap?
I’m concerned about this given I’ve just spent the best part of £400 on an xbox, kinect and a truck load of games for her for christmas including all halo games. I don’t want her banned for learning to play the game as it makes no sense.

Hi I was playing with my son’s on Halo Anniversary & Halo Reach since it is a free Xbox Live Gold weekend. We were playing with my account and their accounts. Arguably I am not very good and they just started so sometimes they don’t get kills, but we do finish the games not matter what. Starting yesterday and continuing today we get a “This Xbox 360 has been temporarily banned from earning credits” and “This GamerTag has been temporarily banned from earning credits” for all our accounts. We have done nothing to mod the xbox or our network connection, so I think it is lack of skill that is getting us banned. Can someone look at the accounts in question and tell me why we got banned?

Not a serious ban but recently, I’ve been getting the “You’ve left too many games recently.” message while playing Reach when at most I leave like 3-5 games any given day. Most of the time, I either get booted for an accidental betrayal, or I just genuinely rage-quit due to lackluster team-mates. Should I be punished for not wanting to endure horrible team-mates? Or for having some absent-minded team-mate run across my screen while I’m boosting in a Wraith?
Personally, I would like to see these 10 minute bans be applied to people who betray team-mates for weapons/vehicles/lulz instead of people who are just trying to avoid a headache. But in all likely-hood, you’ll just say,“If you were banned you deserved it” w/o even attempting to verify if there is indeed a problem. Oh well, just thought I’d rant a little in hopes that if there is indeed an issue, it will be taken care of so that I may continue to enjoy Halo:Reach uninterrupted.
Credit reset bans only apply to those who AFK in-game at this point Ibelieve. You can get permanently credit banned, but I do think that you get to keep your current rank under some circumstances. But don’t let it get too far. You might get multiple two week bans before anything that severe happens, but the best advice is still don’t do bad stuff.
So does changing your time zone get you banned?
You must really need to be a real -Yoink- to get a credit ban in this, cause I’ve boosted a Rumble pit match or two before for a quick daily challenge, or an achievement that requires all the planets to be aligned. I guess an average of 1 mistake every 6 months is ok heh
