That’s 24 hours to 2 weeks, and, since it’s your first offence, in 1-2 days you will gain cR again!
I’ll put this blunt and easy. I have a feeling either the Halo Reach Servers are down for me. Or I was Multiplayer Banned or Reset… Being Unsure of which it is. Can anyone tell me what has happened.
Ok, I’m unsure on how it all works. I understand the Ban-Hammer works. Although, What I am unsure of which is which. Is reset. everything is reset. so that you can’t see what rank you truly were?. In saying that everything expect Commendations is reset?.
If I’m Multiplayer Banned. I’m Banned. I can take that. If I’m reset. Then I may need some answers. For instence which games and which infringments.
I admit that awhile ago I did AFK in a game of FFArcade. I left the game search while I made some food (Sure I can understand how lame that does sound but what you need a note from my mother?) Anyway, I did however muster up kills in the that game. And to what I know that Rules out that game. The only other game that can be accounted for is the weekly challenge. Which if it was a ban over that that is surely P1ss weak. I completed a Custom FF. With a guest that I Did not need to get kills with as the gametype i was playing made it so easy. I didn’t need to use both controllers. If that counts as an act of Hindering. Maybe the weekly challenge should give a little more insight on how to complete it Legit

Ok,
I also did the Weekly with an almost AFK guest and had no ban. And that’s legit as i cannot be punished for AFKing offline and so do you.
So if you have a guest that is not used to Reach and does not get any/many kills it will ban my account from getting credits??? It would be nice getting a message as to why the ban exists!

The system can tell the difference between moving and not getting kills, and AFKing.
Then I’d like to really know why the ban existed. That was the only thing I could think of… I try to be respectful of other players, never drop out, and rarely boot people for betrayals- giving them the benefit of the doubt that it was an error (because I do accidentals on rare occasions). Not saying I’m a great player- average- but the guest was just running around and getting shot.

Although. Looking at it now. I’m just extreamly confused. People keep saying “You’re not banned”. But the fact remains. I can’t go play online and in the Lobby it says I’m Noble 6. Not that’s a Bad thing.
Well, post this in the “Why Did I get Banned?” thread. Then you shall get analyzed and slaughtered with every piece of evidence against you. Then you should know what you have done. Good Luck…

Have you played online since this occasion occured? Maybe that’s why you are still a Hero on Bungie.net. If it’s a rank reset then you have probably done either challenge reseting or commendation boosting or gamertag/nameplate manipulation, but if you want more details to the subject try to PM Total Sellout, or BS Angel or another administrator to guide you as to why you were banned!

You can probably stay safely idle for a short period of time (15 seconds or less) while playing multiplayer but don’t make a habit of it. Also try to make at least some kills. Throw your 2 grenades, use your weapon, hit your opponent, try and find powerful weapons like the sniper rifle or missile launcher or stationary machine gun. Make sure your internet connection is secure and don’t quit especially by hitting the Xbox 360 guide button to return to the dashboard in the middle of a multiplayer match. I’m guilty of doing this twice but am not the only one and won’t be doing this again since the game will penalize you if you quit through this fassion and give your account and console a temporary ban. Since you haven’t moded, hacked, or violated Xbox Live Terms of Use, the game should only give you a temporary ban. You get permanent bans only for more serious things. You mainly get temporary bans for quitting, sometimes having a bad connection, or not being social or sporting (not necessarily getting 0 kills though sometimes you might).

He also jumped of the edge and betrayed bec he didnt know what he was doing. All three accounts got banned in the middle of a game. We did not get reset we got credit banned. i would like to know why bec we were simply playing with friends and i guess they suspected up of boosting but he betrayed us so it doesnt make any sence. Please if u can give me any information on the ban and how long or why. I am not happy at all right now, thank you and please help.

The ban occured because of AFKing and, because one player in the console AFKed, the others playing in the same console are also banned. This happens to prevent people from swapping profiles and “overtake” the ban. The ban lasts from 24 hours to 2 weeks.
This morning I got credit banned, I’m guessing its because my 8 year old nephew was playing with me last night and he’s terrible so it was thought I was credit boosting but if you actually watch replays of the game he is playing and in a couple of games he got a kill or assist while I was playing. Now if you still cant lift the ban fine, can you at least tell me how long I’ll be banned.
I havnt been able to earn credits on Halo:Reach in 4 days, i was just wondering why that would be ? What would I have done to make it temporarily ban me from earning credits ?
I do not understand why i am banned from earnign cR. to get this week’s challenge Endure: The Return, i used a custom firefight variant. i posted the variant to my file share and was shortly thereafter banned from earning credits. i took it off my file share and the ban was lifted after 24 hours. but, the next day i was banned again and i have not earned credits for the past 3 days. Also, my fiancee has started playing with me and gets around 0-3 kills per game. she is signed in as a guest when she plays and is not afk, she just does the smart thing and hides. please respond and resolve this issue.
